At no time did I suggest that it ONLY happens at legal ports of entry. I'm admitting it. And I agree that more needs to be done to secure the border. And I'm a progressive! OMG!

 

So where is the evidence that more is coming over during the last two years? Feelings?

 

We don't even know how many people are coming here undetected so how do we get a count of what they carry?

 

So the numbers can be the same under Biden as they were under Trump?

 

You think they present to the checkpoints with the dope still in hand dude? Do you not understand how coyotes work?
Most of what gets in doesn't come through a PORT OF ENTRY, just most of what GETS CAUGHT.

I'm asking you if you think the 'asylum seekers' who get coyoted here and pay by packing in dope bring the dope to the checkpoint they present to to start the application process after they've illegally crossed the border. Do you think they just wander up to a federal cop shop carrying felony levels of narcotics? Or do you think that is collected by the coyotes using them as mules before sending them on their way?
Which makes more sense to you, conceptually speaking?

According to common sense and basic public knowledge. Ports of entry catch a ton of ****. Go watch Nat Geo, there is an entire show on it called "To Catch a Smuggler". There are various Texas law enforcement shows as well that show the border and arrests there. Its really quite difficult to get anything through a port of entry in any capacity, in the modern day.
Its not so hard to wander across the border, meet a truck, and get dropped off.
You can literally google "what is a coyote southern US border" and go to 'videos'. Plenty of videos you can watch of dudes with rifles and plate carriers and full rucks, leading groups of people carrying packs.
