Since Russia invaded Ukraine in this failed military operation, all bets are off.

I heard about that in the western media already. I figured that was where he would go after running out of Russian prisoners for the Ukrainian meat grinder and failing to depose Shoigu and Gerasimov.

Is this what the western media is reporting?
Don't believe it. Even American presidents know that Western media is fake news.
In fact, for residents of any part of Russia, Moscow is not only a beautiful and modern city, but also a symbol of the country.
Everyone loves Moscow. Perhaps there are some people who envy the quality of life of Muscovites, but they are very few. For example, I have never met such people and have not even heard of them from my acquaintances. But I admit the likelihood of their existence (Scientists say that in any society 4% of inadequate people)
If you mean the political side and ask a question about trust in the government, then according to various estimates of any statistical research (including foreign agents, those who are financed by foreign capital), the rating of, for example, Putin is about 80% support. (The studies I have read say from 79.7% to 82% of Putin's support).
I will give you an example of a historical phrase from the time of World War 2.
As the Red Army political officer Vasily Klochkov said during the defense of Moscow - "Russia is great, but there is nowhere to retreat to. Moscow is behind us." This phrase most accurately conveys the attitude of Russians to their capital.

Do you live in Brighton Beach?

I wonder if you can watch Rutub or VK in the USA?
I'm wondering why it's not possible to insert a video from Rutube on this forum?
For example, people could see how Nigerians demand that the US military leave the country. https://rutube.ru/video/8dcb4b4c6e71f6e651e79d1dca1167ad/

I know that the Z Team has been employing активные мероприятия in Africa to foment coups and destabilize pro-western governments, of course. I know you take great pride in your government interfering in foreign countries. They're certainly better at that than they are at space exploration or most other things.

I could probably watch Rutube. I remember visiting it once upon a time. I don't plan to do so now, though. No need.

    I understood
In Russia, too, many people do not like what is happening in the government. But this is mainly due to economic problems. In political terms, there are also people who do not like certain actions of the government and the president. For example, 99% of political broadcasts on Russian TV criticize the actions of the government and the president. But that's okay. People have their own opinions.
Personally, I think that this criticism is not always justified (I myself have criticized, at my level of course). But for some reason, when I thought that the president was wrong, but I was right, in the end, after a while, I realized that the president was still right. But I'm wrong.

He is wrong, but it's not like you have the choice of getting rid of him.

You threatened nuclear holocaust. It is not a fact. Countries may form alliances any way they see fit. Since I didn't say anything to the contrary I take your mentioning it as meaningless. You have done better than this in the past. You can do better again.

The Monroe Doctrine is a 2 way deal

No, he just asked a question. A simple "no" would have sufficed.

Ahahaha... As the Chinese say - a journey of 1000 miles always starts with the first step. (First the barn, then the bunker, ... then the missile silos). :roflol::roflol::roflol:

One assumes Russia has ICBM's in Siberia. Siberia is separated from the U.S. by only 3 miles. I assume the U.S. has anti missile equipment in Alaska since it is so close.

Nicaragua declares Jesuit religious order illegal, will confiscate its property
The actions are the latest in President Daniel Ortega's authoritarian actions against the Catholic Church and other opposition figures.

    By Associated Press

MEXICO CITY — Nicaragua’s government on Wednesday declared the Jesuit religious order illegal and ordered the confiscation of all its property.

The move comes one week after the government of President Daniel Ortega confiscated the Jesuit-run University of Central America in Nicaragua, arguing it was a “center of terrorism.”

The confiscation order published Wednesday claimed the Roman Catholic order had failed to comply with tax reporting.

The University of Central America in Nicaragua was reportedly a "hub" for protests against Ortega in 2018. It seems Putin has been busy exporting his form of authoritarianism to Nicaragua just as he has been exporting it to Syria and various African nations.

I also think that the United States has anti-missile systems in Alaska. Therefore, it is very useful for the Russians to place missiles in Nicaragua, Cuba and Venezuela.
After all, every country has the right to join a military alliance at will. Isn't it?

Of course. But every country doesn't have permission to install ICBM's aimed at the U.S. You may want to read up on the attempted missile installation in Cuba.

    1. Russian missiles in Cuba it was a response to American missiles in Turkey. That is, first the missiles in Turkey, and then the missiles in Cuba.
    2. NATO expansion is possible, but Russian bases in Nicaragua, Cuba, Venezuela are not?
This does not happen. If you want to expand NATO to the Russian borders, get an appropriate response to this.
