Yes, I think people just don't understand how serious the damage of colonialism and apartheid was.

The native population was excluded from government and leadership, leaving the nation without a history of trusted government and with the population desperately poor. The Native's Land Act of 1913 allowed natives to buy land only within a region that was less than 1/10th the size of South Africa.

One can't say enough about Mandela's phenomenal contribution. Every nation on Earth needs more people like Mandela.

I'm glad that you condemn USA atom bombing of Japan. How should USA atone for that?

 

1st, after dropping 2 nukes on Japan, most of the rest of the Japanese were still alive and in Japan.
