John Somali and his cohort went around on public transport and mocked the Japanese about Hiroshima and Nagasaki while livestreaming. They apparently thought the American "genocide" on Japan was a big joke and thought rubbing the noses of the Japanese in it would make them go viral. In America, we let this kind of crap fly because we are defeated country, the Japanese are not a defeated country and will actually defend their honor. Gundam (a native American youtuber with many strong friendships with the Japanese people) details the story below. The story upset him pretty badly.

Genocide on Japan? You mean the country who attacked us first? Hehe. The country we helped rebuild after we defeated them for attacking us FIRST? They’re lucky we showed mercy. Or wouod have preferred far more death on both sides on a prolonged land war?

And do you condemn every people that became a country by assimilating or killing the residents prior to moving in? Do you condemn all the native American tribes who wiped out other tribes and whoever lived there prior? Of course not.

 

Those two bombs were not the only time that our policy was to slaughter gigantic numbers of civilians, with zero chance of reduction in the military power of our opposition.

Only non-white people in this country. White people can be victims of prejudice but not racism. White people (especially white Christian males) enjoy privileges and advantages that non-white people don't. In war, each side will commit attrocities unfortunately, it's best not to take sides and be objective. Some of the torture tactics used by NATO and Israel are equally reprehensible.

No!!! Why would you think it's a binary choice? White males are adequately represented in positions of power. Why would you think that attempting to do the same for black females (or any other minority), even for a few months, would change that?

 

So you are saying that the only way you achieve your perfect society is to have proportional representation of every group in every thing. Since there are a virtually unlimited number of potential combinations of people, are you going to have a government agency that oversees this distribution?

I have no idea what "a perfect society" is. Sounds kinda binary. I CAN tell you what a BETTER society may be like. It's one in which we do what we can (and we don't do what we can't) to have as many groups as possible represented. Simple! No need to run around in circles shouting and screaming because you think you'll lose your privilegies. You won't!

 

NOW we have arrived at THE difference between socialists and those who believe in freedom. You CANNOT tell what is better. ONLY the collective wisdom of the population [through thorough discourse] can tell what is better.

THIS has been the MAIN lesson of the last several hundred years and why top-down governance DOES NOT WORK!!

 

Sure I can! We ALL can! Or, at least, that's the assumption each of us makes when we opine in this forum. It's what this forum is FOR. Usually the person who provides arguments has a distinct advantage above those who just say "you cannot tell what is better". Normally we don't pay much attention to those.
