After all the time and effort the right spent on same-sex marriage, I'm not buying it.

 

I am very much in favor of same sex marriage.

Most of the criticism of Same Sex Marriage seemed to be focused on the accuracy of the term "marriage" as opposed to the legal nature of same sex partnerships. Of course there is gay hate out there, but most on the right seem supportive of monogamous gay partnerships.
The opposition should have caved earlier when it became clear that their case would eventually have to rely on the logic of alchemy
