This board needs a snark emoji. Anyway, if a murderer can do it, so can someone who hurt other people's feelings.

If only hurt feelings is all that happened, he wouldn't have to pay millions of dollars for hurt feelings. Are you really ok that folks receive death threats cause they were thrown under the bus by others from your side of the asile? Really?

People shouldn't make death threats to anyone and be prosecuted if they do. The reality is we;re seeing too many death threats from all over the place and it needs to stop.

In a rallie a few months ago Trump mocked the attack on Paul Pelosi by a MAGA armed with a hammer.

Do you think that's worthy of a presidential candidate?

‘How her husband doing by the way?’ That’s mocking someone? An illegal alien attacked the guy and you think he’s MAGA?

While Pelosi getting hammered is not funny, the irony here is it happened by an illegal alien who's still in jail in a city full of people who want to defund the cops and empty prisons while other violent criminals roam the streets. Not to change the subject, but do you realize that in NYC he would have been released hours after his arrest?

I'm glad Mr Pelosi made a full recovery, especially at his age, no one needs that sh!t. Plus I've heard he's a nice guy.

    Glad to read that.

But you didn't answer my question.

    I'll give it another try.

How about a presidential candidate making fun of someone who was attacked with a hammer by one of his fans .

Is he worthy of being a head of state?

And by the way, it was indeed a MAGA who believed in the Big Lie.

David DePape believed Mrs Pelosi was part of a plot to "manipulate the country" and "steal votes from Donald Trump", a court in San Francisco heard.

He didn’t really make fun of Pelosi, IMO. And the phrase ‘the big lie’ was originally coined for Abrams and Clinton. And Trump is just as worthy to be head of state as someone who called half the country deplorable or domestic terrorists.

Anyone who doesn't think Trump would keep his voters even if he shot someone doesn't know you.

His voters like his policies, his balls, his patriotism and his connection with the little guy. Compare 2017 thru 2021 to what we have now. With the exception of the military industrial complex, wokeism and illegal aliens, everyone was better off during the Trump years than they are now. It seems like the left is willing to go through more misery because of perceived mean words.

I could maybe see it being understandable he should pay some money, but this amount seems ridiculously excessive.

I get a feeling that the jury pools and courts in NYC are not fair.

I think they were out to get him because he was connected to Trump, so I suspect there was a big amount of bias.

Jury says Trump has to pay $5 million to woman who accused him of rape

And they love it when he laughs at the husband of a political opponent who's been attacked with a hammer.

I can whataboutism this to death, and we all know from this board’s thread history libs just love that. But the bottom line is people were better off under Trump and worse off under Biden and quickly. If you like being worse off because Biden has a D next to his name, then I just don’t know what to say.

The $150 million is so insanely laughable that it punctuates the absurdity and unfairness of all of this.

Maybe he should plead Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson when they come to get the money.

The money isn't nearly enough for the seriousness of his crime- an accomplice to subverting and overturning the election trump lost.
Let's hope he gets actual jail time when he is tried for his treasonous sedition in the Georgia case.

It's hard to get a mortgage on a co-op but the NY condo might make their lives a little more comfy.

The amount will probably get reduced eventually, Guiliani will appeal and appeal on the amount, and eventually some sort of an agreement of how much to pay, which would still be significant to Guiliani will come out. But this will take a couple of years to resolve and they won't see a dime probably since Guiliania is broke as hell.
