Except you don't NEED that if they're in a criminal gang you can RICO them and tag them for actual crimes committed to actually incarcerate them for life. You don't need to fail at Bruen to do that. See how that works?

You're barred from imbibing in liquor stores dude. Everywhere. Gov run or not.
Gov doesn't run BARS where people actually consume. Not to mention: If I'm not consuming, you have not logical reason to bar my carry.
Additionally: See Bruen and its various progeny, plenty of the revolution was planned in bars, armed and drinking.

What is intrinsically intoxicating about the mere purchase of a bottle of alcohol, without consuming it? Be specific.

So you wanting to violate rights makes as much sense as them.

For removing a right or rights.

That it makes no sense to disarm a person for the sin of walking into a business that happens to serve alcohol if they're not going to drink alcohol. Since its a constitutional right, if you DO get a law to restrict it you have to use the least restrictive means to do so. If you're banning DD's this ain't that. See how that works?

No ****. I'm telling you a business can act, but the government cannot. See Bruen. A law won't hold up under Bruen.

No you want to take rights from people without a formal process, per yourself.

Indeed, your position is quite non-sensical. Glad we could agree.

My bad dude, Christmas with the fam and vacation was more important than you and I didn't give you enough attention. Don't worry, I didn't forget about you.
    Do you want a hug?

I didn't add words ffs. Click the little arrows and re-read the posts since you've nothing substantive to offer.

    It is. Click the arrows.

    Works ANYWHERE.

    Guest on the premises ANYWHERE

So ADJUDICATE THEM MENTALLY UNFIT AS IS THE LAW.

There is a process for that as well, varied slightly state by state as is proper for an exercise of the police power.

So stop voting in or having appointed judges who refuse to jail people? The **** you want me to do about it dude? The **** problem is it of mine that courts won't jail people they have dead to rights? Why does that mean MY rights need to be curtailed? The judges in my county act right or we vote them out. Do likewise. Or if you don't vote for judges, do the same with the person/s that appoint them. No need to **** with my life down here for your issues up there. Stay in your lane.

I mean literally that's part of that penal section.... so...

    We're serious. I'm sorry if you aren't.

Then. Use. Rico. On. The. Freely. Admitted. To. Members. Of. Criminal. Street. Gangs. Already.
Stop trying to restrict my ****ing rights for people you have PC on but won't prosecute.

People who believe as you do. You know, grabbers and the like.

    Let's go with both.

You'll need 2 constitutional amendments for that, and I'm not voting for it.
    Its already such an offense.
Anyone adjudicated unfit is already barred, and no parent is compelled to give a child a weapon in trust. Your issue is that you don't want to wait for them to be adjudicated and the way you described rounding them up seemed as if you would apply it to anyone over a certain age.

You realize we have amendments that cured those issues right? You realize there is not a "but they were shitty people" prong for jurisprudential analysis?
All we're saying is: You'd need an amendment (actually several) to get what you want. You don't have the votes for that, ergo you're stuck with the constitution as it is.
    Be mad.

In fact the Shogun who instituted the first Sword Hunt was himself a jumped up peasant pulling up the proverbial ladder behind himself. Also practically RIDDLED with syphilis.

I'm not at all sure you guys have the first clue what a fascist actually is. But, rather than me leaping to conclusions, why don't you define it for us to give us a starting point to analyze your... mind.

Technology. When I left the computer biz, though I still harbor hopes I'll be able to get back in at some point, I was able to do things, unassisted, in an hour or two that just 15-20 years prior it took a team of people an entire week to pull off. Nothing can be done to stop that train.

You would think a former teacher would know all of the above without needing to be reminded.

You don't need to have a degree, but a knowledge of economics would be helpful.
You're sure about this, are you?

I keep going back to my college roommate. Born in the Dominican Republic, he was raised in a urine smelling tenement in Spanish Harlem with no dad around and a mom who scratched out a living being a seamstress.. Rather than whine and complain he worked hard and is an MD today. Poor widdle whiney libs... sob... wahhh.... wahhh...

    I didn't say you couldn't own a car.
    You can get it insured.
You have no right to possess some weapons.
    This makes no sense.

Being subject to testing is not the same thing as having your "right" (or privilege) removed.

yeah a guy I went to law school with came out of the poorest area of the South Bronx-big Puerto Rican family. Got into a no longer in existence college due to the fact he was a hard worker and smart. ROTC. Ended up being one of the test pilots for one of our current fighter planes in the mid to late 70s. Retired as a Major. went to law school worked his ass off. Not a top student but a solid one. He now is a top rated aeronautics attorney ("NY Super Lawyer selection for the last decade) on Wall street.

You're misrepresenting my position. Anyone who can't or doesn't want to get a doctor's note can opt for the DMV test. The doctor's note is an option for those subject to testing.

are your suggestions more about being able to pat yourself on the back for pretending you are doing something useful or do you actually believe your suggestions are going to reduce violent crime?

What's your attitude toward people who weren't able to excel? How should we think of them? How should they live with their lack of success?
