many lefties are afraid of firearms and feel if they owned one, they might shoot themselves due to incompetence. In SOME cases, they project this fear and incompetence onto other and push for laws designed to disarm people JUST LIKE THEM

 

And the hypocritical thing is some of them own guns.

 

I called the local gun guy earlier this week. For concealed carry they want your social media accounts.
I remember when high schoolers had shotguns racked in their truck beds in the school parking lot. White privilege I guess... Or is white honor the word? Honor is something lost today.

According to YOUR (or rather, whatever AI bot you're using to write your posts for you), from 2000 to 2016, 48,830 people died from gunshot wounds in Canada. Of those, 9,919 were suicides and 2,825 were homicides. Are you seriously going to look me in the face and tell me that there were 36,086 gunshot fatalities were what, hunting accidents? Someone cleaning a gun they thought was unloaded, but wasn't, resulting in a different kind of accidents.

Those numbers make no sense whatsoever, and it's not the only error your trusty AI friend gave you. Try writing your own posts for a change!

you need to read and write your own posts. I said LEFTIES. some democrats-including many union guys, more than a few gays and some pro choice women are not lefties. I know lots of union democrats who are hunters and gun owners. i know lots of wealthy women who support less taxes, gun rights etc but vote dem for abortion issue. I know dozens of gays who are pro gun but don't like the GOP on the alphabet issues.

I cannot help it if you don't understand the difference. However, the leadership of the DEMOCRAT party is almost entirely ANTI GUN THESE DAYS-given EVERY Democrat who ran to be the 2020 candidate for president was anti gun and supported banning commonly used for lawful purposes firearms. Humphrey might have been the last democrat nominee for president who was better on gun rights than his GOP (Nixon) opponent though Carter v Ford was bad either way. Reagan over Carter and Mondale, Bush over Dukakis and Clinton, Dole vs Clinton, Bush v Gore and Poodle boy, McCain and Romney (barely) and of course Trump over Clinton and Biden.

The "war on drugs" is a conservative thing. How many Americans have a criminal record for having pot? How anout abortion? Conservatives don't want abortions and don't want Democrats to have them, either.
