    Nearly a quarter of former President Trump’s supporters say he should not be the Republican nominee for president in 2024 if he is convicted of a crime, according to a survey released Tuesday.

    The New York Times/Siena College poll found 24 percent of respondents who said they would vote for Trump in the upcoming election also say he should not be the nominee if found guilty in one of his legal trials, “even if he has won the most votes.”

    The qualifications for a person to become president are in the Constitution. The Constitution has no such qualification.

    I find it terrifying that 76% think it's ok for a convicted felon to be President of the United States.

    When I say he can't run away, I mean he'll be condemned by the law.

    Trump will be a convicted felon before the end of 2024.

    Are you going to vote for him anyway?

    I'm down with this but the wheels of justice grind slowly and Garland sat on his hands for almost two darn years.......we can bury him at the ballot box, vote and get a citizen infrequent or non voter to the ballot box as well.

    I don't want Trump or Biden as president. However, given the choice between Trump and Biden, I will choose Trump.

    If Trump were convicted of a crime? I’m gonna guess he would still vote for a criminal.

    ETTD and he's already touched US once....

    Should he manage to win the 24 election and simultaneously be convicted, the term Constitutional Crises will be, imo, an insufficient description of what the nation will face.

    I find it more terrifying that most of the left thinks they can convict someone of a crime just by claiming the 14th amendment doesn't fall under the Bill of Rights.

    Trump has not been convicted and there is a good chance that Biden will be convicted.

    I look at results. The economy was better. We were in no wars. Biden's withdraw from Afghanistan was a disaster. The borders are a disaster.

    Trump faces 4 criminal trials in 2024.

    92 charges.

    How many times have you seen a defendant acquitted in 4 criminal trials?

    Biden will be re-elected in 2024.... and won't be charged with anything.

    This is an ideal figure.

    75% is enough to demonstrate the moral failure of the Republicans, who will remain glued to a criminal to advance their political agenda.

    And 75% is clearly insufficient for Trump to win.

    Trump starts his campaign with a voting deficit of over 7 million....

    Please ban Biden in all states and arrest him... the illegal invader problem is noted in all 50 states and the fentanyl that kills Americans can be traced right back and is a direct result of Joe Biden opening the border...
