I don't know anymore than you think you know. But I do know that they withheld evidence for whatever excuse you can come up with doesn't matter...
So at the very least all you can say is they're buffoonishly incompetent.

It doesn't matter what the so-called reason was it's still unethical.

In the end, they failed to disclose it to the court. And that's the bottom line and all that matters.

But why don't you humorous and tell us how you think they innocently withheld evidence? Are they just that incompetent that they can't keep track of it?

It is truly horrifying. But it speaks to where the standards seem to be currently. (there are none.......and that is a prescription for disaster)

Sure. I actually read links, unlike some.

If it had been 'unethical' (involving intent) action would have been taken by the Bar Association.

    Yer clutching at straws, Mate.

yes, they have to turn over all evidence they have, they do not have an obligation to find information they do not have

Just another one of his half baked ideas that didn't go anywhere , primarily because it was in his fantasy. (particularly the "Mexico will pay for it" part)

The House hasn't even come up with a plausible lie to charge him with.
    No, it wasn't

Because tRaitor tRump negotiated an untenable withdrawal, he released more Taliban insurgents than the number of American troops he left in Afghanistan to defend themselves.
And the tRumpublican house is to busy infighting to pass any legislation that would help the situation.

They ARE obligated to turn over all they DO have. So there's that.

So the official excuse is, they're just simply incompetent.

What's depressing is the title to this thread should be only a quarter ...
I remember back when a Senator resigned when a photo of him miming touching a sleeping beauty surfaced. Now attacks on the constitution are OK. There is no rational argument for supporting morally bankrupt.

It's not that hard when you've jammed your fingers in your ears, eyes, and brain so you don't have to be exposed to anything that might alter the rosy glow you have of that terrible despicable man. Especially after he's convinced you any criticisms of him all come from some James Bond style evil cabal hellbent on controlling everyone just because.

And each protestor who entered the capital as well as the man who egged them on to be there are the ones most responsible. You can hold Pelosi responsible for her part, but if you're actually trying to pretend she has more responsibility than the criminals involved, well, bless your heart. That'd be like saying the cops are more responsible for the BLM riots than the rioters themselves. Stupid stupid stupid.

I believe convicted felons should be allowed to vote from prison! I also believe that a convicted felon should be allowed to run. What bothers me is that people would actually VOTE for one.

    That's not so surprising.

Trump's condemnation is remote for conservatives, who only watch media that reinforces their political ideas.

Fox, Newsmax and the rest have pundits telling them repeatedly that the accusations against Trump aren't serious and that he'll get away with it as always.

Despite this, 25% of Republicans know it's not a joke.

What happens with Trump is a wait and see game. His delaying tactics could very well push the trials back beyond the general election. As it stands now one of the trials is set to begin in late March, that is past most of the Republican primaries. Trump may be the defacto GOP nominee with enough delegates to cinch the GOP nomination by then.

As for a political disaster, maybe, maybe not. This rematch is one most Americans don’t want. Most Americans dislike both Trump and Biden, they don’t want neither one as their next president. The question is, where do those quarter of republicans go if Trump is convicted prior to the election? They’re republicans, assuming they’d vote for Biden is a big mistake. They hold Biden in very low regard to put it mildly. They’d probably vote third party if they do vote or not vote at all.

But that would be okay. It would take votes away from Trump even if they didn’t cast a ballot for Biden. But if you add a quarter of republicans voting for RFK Jr. or the no labels party candidate, they’d become a major factor. In a three-way race, it’s Biden 38%, Trump 36%, RFK Jr. 22%.

    https://news.yahoo.com/biden-trump-dead-heat-2024-192233510.html?.tsrc=daily_mail&uh_test=0_00

I think one needs to remember, that most Americans are very dissatisfied to put it mildly with both prospective major party nominees. They don’t want neither one. Put RFK Jr. or the no labels party on enough state ballots along with a Trump conviction which could give either one a quarter of his votes, they may stand a chance of winning. Also keep in mind, only 39.2% of all Americans have a positive view of Biden vs. 55.3% negative or unfavorable. That’s a lower favorable rating than Ford, Carter, G.H.W. Bush, Trump had when they lost reelection. The only saving grace for Biden is Trump. They need each other if one or the other is to win.

But if they are eligible voters then there is no constitutional provision to bar them from running for office. As for the people who would vote for them, we agree. But I don't think felons should vote.

'Owning the libs' has become a political priority for the Republicans.

    It's perfect.

While you're putting your energy into it, the libs are running the country.

    Nah...

    Things are going well.

Trump predicted the collapse of the stock market.

    It made 24% in 2023.

    Trump predicted runaway inflation.

    It's at 3.2%.

    He predicted unemployment.

The country can't keep up with job demand....

In short, the country can largely do without a criminal like Trump.
