A lot of independents think of abotion in the same way as most Democrats do. Abortion is a women's health care issue, not some religious nuts version of what may be considered "life" from a religious perspective.

Most of the problems in this country are those who want to rule rather than govern. That tends to be certain people of one particular party, just not the rank and file. but your circular argument of it is not the Democrats but it is the Democrats who tend to be the problem shows just how your political bias works and why there is no unity.

Trump might the only candidate who will have courage to shut down the border and go for a reset on immigration. Trump claims that he will have mass deportations which remains to be seen.

No one else will shut the border. Biden will leave it wide open until all of Central and South America is here who wants be here. Biden will also allow terrorists to enter the country. That is a ticking time bomb.

 

He doesn't have the power to shut down the border. It takes congress to act.

No president in history has solved the border problem.

So no, he can't, the numbers will just build up on the boarder, no matter what. We can't 'close' the border, that is impossible. There is over $3 billion worth of goods traversing the border each day which cannot be stopped (or it would be a disaster if you did). Trump will just shove the illegals to the Mexican side of the border, and the crisis will be on that side of the border, and the problem of it being 'inhumane' remains in place.

And, it will, in fact, be even more inhumane as he closes the door on asylum. he lies when he says 'they are poisoning the blood of America given the fact that all of our 'blood' came from foreign countries, mostly.

And did I mention that his zero tolerance policy resulted in 2200 children permanently losing contact with their parents for a crime no greater than a misdemeanor? Yeah, that's right, first time crossers is a misdemeanor, so losing your kid forever is not justice.

What is needed is a triple (whatever is needed) the number of personnel at all phases, at the border to deal with the flow and beef up security, a wall can't do it all, and a wall across a 2000 mile border just isn't feasible.

What is needed is to streamline the path to citizenship because America has a labor shortage.

What is needed is for Republicans to sign a bill addressing these things, but they won't do it.

They don't want to give Biden a win because they are putting party above country, they don't want to do anything about it, they just want to bellyache and score cheap political points while America suffers.

In short, the right has no policy, no solution, nothing. they are the do nothing but bellyache like hell party.
