Donald Trump is nothing but a two-bit con-artist. He accomplished very little in his first term and basically rode out Obama's economy and took credit for it. He's conned conservatives into believing he's one of them, but he's in fact a New York liberal populist. He's taken the opposite position on multiple conservative issues and you all simply dismiss it. He criticized pro-life legislation, he increased the national debt more in one term than any prior president. He refuses to answer if a man can be a woman. He handed the country over to Fauci and supported the shutdown of businesses and lashed out against those governors who didn't go along with it. He approved of printing trillions of new dollars directly contributing to our current inflationary crisis. He approved of an unconstitutional rent moratorium that went on for a year and a half. He agreed to work with Diane Feinstein on gun legislation. He calls his political opponents names like he's a second grader on a playground and you all think it's funny. He behaves in ways we all tell our children not to and he wants to return to being leader of the free world.

When / Had Obama and Biden done these things those of you in MAGAland would be telling us how it's the end of America. Trump does it? "We need him to save America!"

The Republican Party has turned into a total joke and is nothing but a cult worshiping this one man who constantly plays them like fools.

No, there isn't. I'm a former Republican, now independent. I was hoping Haley would beat him in New Hampshire yesterday. I'd have voted for her in November. I would have voted for Ron DeSantis. I will under no circumstances vote for Donald Trump.

I'm not a liberal either, at least not what gets called liberal today, perhaps in the classical sense of the word. I'm also not what passes for conservative these days either. I'm simply for common sense, decency, and what I know from years of experience and observation works and what doesn't. Neither Republicans or Democrats, nor "conservatives" or "liberals" fit the bill these days. It's all become tribalism.
