I'm opposed to ANY "pathway to citizenship" (amnesty) until our border is secured. Period. Get that done and THEN we can talk about amnesty. Otherwise all it does is encourage MORE illegal immigration and in 10-20 years we'll be exactly where we are now. Decrying how "the immigration system is broken wah!" and "but think of the children wah!" (meanwhile completely ignoring that so many die or are killed on their way here, and women and girls are raped at a 80% rate)

Sorry Harris, this is a non-starter. Dems love to holler about working together, make things "bi-partisan", until they get what they want and then go back on everything else. Reagan and subsequent history proved that.

I'd bet those Cubans are more patriotic and more appreciative of this country than your typical California liberal. When I lived in El Paso ALL of my neighbors and most of my coworkers were Mexican and they despised illegals - in fact, and I've said this many times before, they referred to illegals and Mexican nationals as 'those dirty Mexicans' because they wanted to differentiate themselves from them. The Mexicans in El Paso are also probably more patriotic and appreciative of this country than your typical California liberal. The idiot in El Paso who is against everything these patriots stand for is Beto O'Rourke - a white progressive liberal.

1: You do realize that happened prior to Reagans 1987 amnesty, right? And that what I said about Reagans amnesty and subsequent history after that was in relation to Democrats getting what they want and then going back on what they promised (a secure border).

2: Despite your attempt to make me out to be racist/bigot/nationalist (we both know that was the point of your last sentence, don't even try and deny it, it will simply be ignored) this has nothing to do with being, or even not being for that matter, a "true American". This has to do with illegal immigration and idiots like Kamala encouraging them to come here illegally with the promise of a "pathway to citizenship" (amnesty).

Not once have I said a negative thing about Cubans, Mexicans, Hondurans, or anyone else that comes here illegally, other than that they shouldn't be. All I've talked about is policy. I'm fine with a pathway to citizenship for those already here(with specific exceptions of course, not just blanket amnesty) as long as it's combined with action on reducing future illegal immigration.

 

Let them in unimpeded and give them a path to citizenshop....voting rights included of course.....sound like the Democrat dream..
