Now that we are bombing Yemen, now's the perfect time for the Saudis to absorb Yemen and put an end to this once and for all. They have troops, and Yemen is on their doorstep.

The Saudis tried once and failed, but now hear me out. They only need to secure the coastal areas of Yemen. The Houthis will retreat and head into the highlands to conduct insurrection operations. But this time, Saudi can secure the coastal areas and win. How? Yemen is a dry desert, and that terrain can work to the Saudis' advantage. They need to issue a general evacuation order for the in-land areas and then cut power and water to the remote areas. Blockade the roads and place spotters and snipers towards the mountain roads.

Let's see how the Houthis like roughing it out in the wilderness over the summer without electricity and running water. Just wait and see how long they will wait before giving up. No one in this day and age wants to go without modern conveniences and be forced to do it for too long.

So you have zero evidence of the USA bombing anyone in South America, North America, Antarctica, Europe.

It was all fake. Got it.

There are and were alternatives to these attacks.
Not that long ago the Suez canal was blocked, but the world survived.
Egypt, a country with influence gets a lot of revenue from the canal trade.
The Houthis are not a straightforward opponent to wipe out.
So the USA and it's British poodle go straight for violence instead of exploring other options.
The military industrial complex will love this.
Go round Africa seems to be a viable first option, unless money is the only concern I suppose.

'NEVER UNDERESTIMATE JOE’S ABILITY TO F*** THINGS UP': Here Comes the Houthi War (and How Bribed Joe Will Screw It Up).

    https://instapundit.com/

'“We are clear-eyed about who the Houthis are, and their worldview,” a senior U.S. official told the Washington Post Saturday, which the Biden administration designated this week as a terrorist organization.'

'There's the first screw-up because, contrary to what you read in the mainstream media, Biden did not designate the Houthis as a terrorist organization. Instead, Biden determined that they're a Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT) entity, which comes with lighter sanctions than the full Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) designation. FTO is "the gold standard of terrorism sanctions," according to the Atlantic Council.'

'President Donald Trump listed the Houthis as an FTO, which Biden lifted. His redesignation of the Houthis under SDGT sanctions is weak sauce'

'So far, Biden won't use legal tools like FTO against the Houthis, nor potentially decisive firepower like MOAB. In most ways, he's doing too little but, in one vital way, he's doing too much.'

Trump dropped one MOAB on ISIS in Afghanistan, and that was pretty much the end of ISIS in Afghanistan.

'Hamas launched its terror invasion of southern Israel. Then the Houthis expanded their war against commercial shipping. Biden isn't prepared for what his weakness has already forced us into, much less what might be coming.'

I support attacking them in the ways the coalition is attacking them. They are literally trying to attack supply lines and make everyone’s prices go up. We must keep international waters safe. Anyone attacking international waters should expect our presence and response. If Joe didn’t allow this I would be more upset than him doing it.

There is no Houthi war. The Houthis are attacking international shipping lanes in the Arabian Sea. That is a violation of international law. So far, we, along with the Brits, have done a propertional response. The Houthis are not in control of the Yemen Backed government. The Saudis are.
