Texas added more jobs in 2023 than California and New York combined

    Some people can't see the forest from the trees.

    CA has reached pre-pandemic levels + some, and maybe even TX has.

    Your using total revenues to determine "who pays more", which is always going to fall on
    You keep making it up as you go along. I said that there was no personal income tax, but that Texas has consumption taxes that are mainly paid by the individual consumer…

    In February of 2020, there were 18739937 California working. In December of 2023, there were 18373857.

    It's 13544117 in February 2020 and 14594903 in December 2023 for Texas.

    New York's situation is even more depressing.

    Unless you have some actual data to show us, you're just making it up as you go. Businesses make purchases and pay taxes on those purchases. They also pay property taxes on their buildings to local governments.
