Hmm I thought it was ignorance that prompted it, but we can agree to disagree.

This isn't about predicting anything, what I said was a statement of fact versus you predicting doom and gloom. You're right though, you're not good at predicting the future and yet you once again double down and predict the future. Amazing.
Now back to reality, it's up over 300% because most understand that the name Trump has draws, even the wacko left can't go a day without saying his name, it's hilarious.

LOL so there's never been a single real estate suit brought in NY where there wasn't a victim nor anyone defrauded, but it's about holding accountable lol. The bank testified they use their own evaluations to determine rates and terms and Trump got nothing special and paid back in full on time. Yea he should be held accountable for being a model borrower. Only in Wacko lefty land.

They're SO hard up to get Trump they don't care if they completely destroy our country, the legal system, the constitution and our way of life as long as they get the bad orange man.

The wholesale backfiring while he keeps rising in the polls is ****ing hilarious though

I am not predicting anything. I have no doubt that there are enough Trump disciples who can push up the DJT stock by being greedy and hoping to get rich. So, it is entirely possible that the stock will soar. It is also entirely possible that the stock will tank, if people jump on it to short, or Trump decides to sell while the going is good. Now, I'd never buy DJT, so I have no skin in the game. I stick with investing in index funds by dollar cost averaging. That way, I don't have to predict anything, I just bank on the total stock market going up over time. i.e. I bank on America.

You, on the other hand, should consider investing in DJT. It's for a good cause. He is a big name, so many other people might be "drawn" to it and do the same. Come on, what do you have to lose....

Then why couldn’t he post bond a week ago?

Why would he have? He's playing chess, not checkers. Now he has to pay a fraction of said bond. Had he paid a week ago, he'd be out hundreds of millions extra.

Based on your predictions of DWAC, I think I'll pass on you predicting what I should buy.

This is an application of the decades old law as written. If it gives you comfort to hold onto your fantasy, keep holding on tight.

In other words, you won't put your money where your mouth is. Typical....

But, we see this a lot here with the MAGA crowd. they all cheered like bobbleheads when Trump predicted in late 2020 that the stock market would crash like never seen before if Biden would be elected. Did they all sell their stock? Of course not. Because deep down they knew that Trump's predictions were B$. Yet, publically, they nodded anyway.

The second. You sanction what is an appropriate penalty. You don't sanction financial gains. It doesn''t matter whether those gains were ill-gained or not(this is distinct from a bank robbery or other crime where someone actively stole something.)

Here, the novel theory of "If not for the loans, Trump wouldn't have made a profit so let's strip the profits" is not normally how we do claims/damage assessment.

Appropriate the damage(key here) and assess the penalty therein. How much was the loan? You penalize that and interest and bam.

Now that is some white privilege right there.

Guy who claimed to have $10 billion gets his bond lowered and more time to pay it

    LMFreakinAO!
    Nice Try...Epic FAIL...:bored:
The WRONG headline was originally posted.
CNN made no mention of the judgement being "cut"...
It was a Bullshit Headline! Period!
And, everybody who clicked on the original link KNEW the Headline was Bullshit...
The next time it would be prudent to use the direct copy/paste option (instead of improvising with BS).:bored:
    Nothing personal...Just a friendly suggestion...
***Anyway, now that that certain bit of housekeeping has been clarified, back ON TOPIC:
As noted by many others, Trump really did catch a break.

Still, the amount of the judgement wasn't reduced.
Personally, I have no problem with the bond amount being reduced.
Let Trump fight it out in Court. That is his right.:flagus:

    So WHAT?
The Original (Thread Title) before it was changed was WRONG...
That is why paying attention (before posting) is a good thing...
    You're welcome...

Looks like he outfoxed them and saved a couple hundred million in the process. What a legend.
