Keeping in mind that I'm not religious, what Biden did was take a very religious holiday that's been around for centuries and is celebrated by millions of people, and made a very recent holiday which is celebrated by hardly any people relative to Easter an insulting distraction.

For comparative purposes, if you recall there was a time when blm was constantly in the news and they savored it. Then when the Notre Dame Cathedral fire happened that made all the news, it bumped blm off the front page and they bitched and screamed about it.

As an agnostic, nothing offends me more than the weird sex cult that has developed on the left. Easter is the first Sunday after the full Moon that occurs on or after the spring equinox. If the full Moon falls on a Sunday then Easter is the next Sunday.

More importantly, the book of Romans clearly states that ANY rebellion against ANY government, no matter how cruel and oppressive that government is, is a grievous sin against God. According to your logic, the 4th of July is deeply offensive to all Christians.

I promise you I'm more familiar with the Bible than you are. You really don't want to go down this road. You either have to condemn everything that the Bible condemns (trans people, religious freedom, eating shellfish, working on the Sabbath, being the descendent of someone who offended God) or you have to realize that human flaws made it into the Bible and that maybe it isn't cool to murder trans people. Which will it be?

The Bible has some horrific, cruel, barbaric, evil parts in it, supporting everything from infanticide to genocide and slavery. It also has some amazing lessons. Everyone who looks to the Bible for guidance has to choose whether they are going to see the cruel verses through the lens of the lofty ones, as @MuchAdo has done, or to ignore the Golden Rule and hold up the hateful verses instead, as you have done.

I am a Christian. I went to Church yesterday, I listened to the pastor preach the resurrection of Christ. After service I stood with few church members and exchanged pleasantry, then went to my parents, had wonderful dinner and spent rest of the day with friends and family.

Yesterday was the day about “ Christ who was victorious over death” and a remembrance about “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”.


I wasn’t insulted by anything , because the God I worship, HE IS RISEN, HE IS RISEN INDEED.

I am a Christian and I think celebrating Tranny day on Easter is great idea. What better way to tell transgender people the love of Christ, that anyone regardless of their sexuality, gender, race anyone can come to Jesus and be saved.
