"A review of the New York County Supreme Court docket on Wednesday shows that paperwork for former President Donald Trump‘s newly-secured bond of $175 million was temporarily rejected and “returned for correction.”

The cause for the rejection, according to the New York County Supreme Court website, is because the requisite paperwork lacked a current financial statement."

All this winning............and yet the Orange Stain's lawyers and newest friend, Don Hankey, can't get a simple bond posted without crossing their i's and dotting their t's.

Any bets on whether the missing financial statement will be accurate ?
Wouldn't it be dreamy if it wasn't ?

    LMAO

Don has regulatory problems. He's investing in an Orange win and subsequent preferential treatment.

You know, buying influence that Orange is peddling.

Now the AG wants a hearing on the financial soundness of Trump's newest best friend:

    https://www.cnn.com/2024/04/04/politics/attorney-general-trump-bond-civil-fraud-case/index.html

I LOVE how the Orange Stain is complaining how the AG is being "troublesome":

Considering the Orange Stain has filed dozens of frivolous lawsuits in his time just to get go-away money, I absolutely LOVE that he is complaining about actual legit due process making his life difficult.

Hey Orange Turd, if you don't want the law on your ass, don't be a criminal !

There should not even be a bond requirement as the price of an appeal. Is Trump going to pick up his properties and hide in Canada with his secret service entourage?
This is a perfect example of lawfare denying due process.

Not only does he have to post a bond to cover the amount he owes, he also gets to cover the state’s court costs when he loses. Due process at its finest.

You make it sound like due process is a partisan issue. Should it be?

Knight Specialty and its parent company are not authorized to issue surety bonds in New York state and therefore can’t obtain a certificate from the New York Department of Financial Services, which is usually part of a bond package. The attorney general’s office asked for additional information within 10 days, or it said the bond will not be in effect.

    Good call by New York...
"Mr. Hankey" was by bound to set off some red flags...

Did you say 'a simple bond'? Is there anything simple about any bond? Could you possibly imagine the complexity of a bond as large as $175,000,000? I work with people who need to get large bonds on a regular basis. I haven't seen more than one or two that do not get initially rejected for some reason or another. The notion that a very large bond getting returned for additional information is the norm. The only thing that is unusual is that some people who are completely unfamiliar with high finance are making something out of the completely ordinary.

    That's a funny one.

    Let's take a non-fictional example.

A company that poisoned groundwater and was ordered to pay civil damages to the victims could lodge a free appeal, knowing that it would not go to court for another 2-3 years....

Devotion to Trump makes one lose all sense of logic.

In your example there are victims and they have names. Who are the victims in the Trump case and can you name them.

Trump manipulated downward the valuation of several of his properties to defraud the IRS and the State of New York.

So I'd say the victims are us.

So you want to pose you do not understand why fraud can be a victimless crime and pretend as well you do not know what a victimless crime is.

How does you being or posing as ignorant of the above, make what Trump did legal?

You want to play? Finish it.

    https://www.lawinfo.com/resources/criminal-defense/what-is-a-victimless-crime.html

What is it with defenders of Trump that they think if they pretend not to understand the law, it makes Trump fart free?

I can give you plenty of stories where real criminals harmed real victims and are let off scott free thanks to lib approved prosecutorial discretion. The DOJ is allowing Biden associates to defy subpoenas while hammering people they politically disagree with.

Maybe this time round the Orange fraudster will provide accurate SFC’s as the basis for borrowing.
Then again , he such an arrogant, ignorant fraudster who thinks he doesn’t have to follow the law, that he might try it again.

I sincerely hope so: he will be prosecuted for every act of fraud he commits. And this has nothing to do with “feelings”.
