They prosecuted those who were caught in those riots. NONE who were found guilty were just set free. They did the same with those caught in Washington D.C. I see no double standard with that.
I say all of the protesters in Seattle etc. should be set free unless every single D.C. rioter is locked up. I think you can see my argument in the last sentence is not a logical one.

I don't see the bolded part in the RWR section. I don't recall those protest burning down government buildings even trying to trap people inside of them so they burn along with the building. I don't recall those protest engaging in insurrection and taking over entire parts of cities and declaring their won governments and disrupting the lives of all the law abiding citizens.

Meaning the time of day. Was it before the rioting started? Was it during? No one can know based on no time stamp.

This asshat judge was angered that Goodwyn did a news interview.

'Goodwyn was sentenced to 60 days in jail, ordered to pay a $2,500 fine and $500 in restitution, and given 12 months of supervised release.' And required to undergo 'mental health treatment, if that is deemed to be necessary and that he remain in that treatment until it is no longer felt to be necessary by the probation department.'

Then Asshat Judge 'Walton imposed monitoring for wrongthink.'

'And since he has used social media in order to provide what I consider to be disinformation about this situation, I would require that he permit his computer use to be subject to monitoring and inspection by the probation department to see if he is, in fact, disseminating information of the nature that relates to the events that resulted in what occurred on January 6th of 2021.'

This Judge is insane. Appelate Court backhands the judge:

Adults are responsible for their actions. If they were stupid enough to participate in a violent act, that was a conscious decision and they deserve to suffer the consequences. If they want mercy, then they can plead guilty and argue mitigation and hope the court shown them some.

 

People who break laws, are caught and arrested, are indicted and found guilty by a jury of their peers after getting a chance to defend their actions in court must face the consequences of their actions that is law and we are a nation of laws. If a person has been treated poorly by the system there are remedies under law.
Some of the same people who a few short years ago were the champions of law and order now appear to the champions of anarchy and chaos.

Yea, right. The same felons came out night after night trying to set fire to the courthouse in Seattle. How could that be if they had been arrested and in jail? In Minneapolis there were riots night after night. How many people are in the rioting profession. If you busted and jailed them on the first couple of nights, one would think you would exhaust the supply after a while.

Here in Florida, the news media made a big deal out of the guy the camera caught tossing a fire bomb between the security gate of a store. That didn’t seem to happen much up north.

The contrast between the summer of ‘20 riots and number of arrests and the January 6 arrests and prosecutions has been made frequently. If there were many trials for the 2020 arrests, the Democrats would be pointing to them. There aren’t many trials, except for Kyle Rittenhouse, which favored the Democrat side. The rest seem to be held “secret” or don’t exist. At all burning and looting in the name of George Floyd was a “virtuous, rightful protest” right?
