Rebecca Lavrenz was convicted on four counts Thursday after just three days of jury deliberation for entering the Capitol on J6. Lavrenz entered the building through an open door around 2:43 p.m., according to the official statement of facts.


Lavrenz told The American Spectator‘s Jack Cashill that she “felt that if those doors [on the east side of the building] opened I was supposed to go through.”

She faces 10 months un prison and $200,000 fine her own legal cost in top of that.

Is this REALLY the proper response? Have we ever treated the peaceful protestors at the Capitol with such heavy handed retributions? Isn't it time to move on? I believe all the violent rioters have been prosecuted or copped their pleas.

One of the few was down here in Tampa. A guy was shown on video tape throwing a firebomb through the window of a building.

Down here there were consequences for arson and looting. In the "woke states" you go away with it. The arsonists disappeared when it became obvious that they were going to be prosecuted for their wrong doing. In the "progressive states," law enforcement was cool with it. They were described as "peaceful protests" on CNN while the buildings were burning behind the "peaceful demonstrators." Talk about gas lighting!

More than 70 stores were looted, and the riot caused $1.8 million in damage, prosecutors said.
Betts’ lawyer, Elisabeth Pollock, said Betts was frustrated about police brutality across the U.S., had lost his job because of the coronavirus outbreak and never intended to hurt anyone.
