Nah. I was military too. It's an opinion, and I oppose them being put on a pedestal just as anybody else.

I don't like when Supreme Court justices get partisan, rock stars, or military leadership.

They need to stay in their lane.

You don't KNOW as in have the KNOWledge that throughout the history of the country Presidents have had a qualified immunity? That it applies to officials at many levels. Yes there is. Everyone who points out Trump is engaged in a fundamentally anti-democratic effort to do something harmful to the country but helpful for him is dismissed, de-legitimized, and or attacked in some way. Cults always protect their leader in this way.

The claim for immunity is just Trump trying to avoid being held accountable for his criminal activities.

Yes, presidents have to make difficult, life-or-death decisions, but none of the crimes for which Trump has been indicted involve such decisions. Trump is all about Trump.

 

Tell that to the Federalist Society. Brett Kavanaugh, Neil Gorsuch, Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, and Amy Coney Barrett are all current or former members. It's the pool from which all Republican presidents choose their nominees.

It isn't. There are far too few of them in any public or private sector. We're talking about a tiny minority, maybe 5% of the whole. If that's just too scary, don't enlist.
