He would feel free to destroy the systems he has vocalized hatred for. Not to mention changing laws so he could extract revenge to all those that he perceived hurt him. Total immunity would give him license to do as HE wishes......and that would be dangerous , to the country, the population and those he targets for sadistic revenge. It would literally make him a dictator.

If any group would have a good comprehension of politics, and the law ( without having to be a lawyer) it would be the military. These top brass HAVE to be aware.ubfirned of these factors as part of their job. Their work has exposed them to places where different regimes operate , and where certain principles ......like immunity........would have detrimental effect. Immunity by Trumps definition is freedom to do whatever he wants. ( Carte Blanche )....and we have all seen his inclinations and preferences. ( eg: he prefers dictates to the US allies). RED FLAG right there. Trump is a thug and a bully. Those are personality prerequisites for dictatorship.

 

He would also be in a position to simply ignore a SCOTUS ruling and tell them all to pound sand....I simply don't get why they'd want to even take this up....unless it's to just eat up time on the clock.
BTW, it would also mean that Joe Biden can tell them the same.....it's mindboggling unless it to eat up the shot clock.

Not exactly. The total immunity applies to the handling of presidential papers and classified matter - the Constitution still applies.
