You don’t always need a gun - if the assailant had not been killed by the cop then the bloke with the plastic chair would have in all probability been an effective deterrent to further harm. You use whatever is at hand at the time. Nearly twice as many unarmed people as armed people have stopped mass shootings in the USA

I did, that's why I moved to a handgun. But, you can relax, it's okay ~ the rifle might only get around 100 before overheating so that's an acceptable number and you have defeated my point.

well when the people who protect our politicians get rid of their guns, you might have a point but I have years of martial arts background, knives, sticks nunchucks etc and I find anyone who claims that you don't need guns for self defense are speaking from a political position not one of knowledge.
