WILMINGTON, North Carolina, April 20 (Reuters) - U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump canceled a campaign rally in Wilmington, North Carolina, on Saturday because of an incoming storm, but told the crowd he would return at a later date.

Trump told the crowd to leave immediately because of safety concerns as lightning flashed at the rally site.

"I'm devastated that this could happen but we want to keep everybody safe," Trump told the crowd, his voice relayed to loudspeakers at the outdoor rally at an airport in the presidential battleground state. Trump was calling in from his private jet about a half hour before he was set to take the stage.

The event was due to take place after the first week of his hush money trial in New York.'

I've given that question some thought, and I would bet that, when the language of the law is applied, if the evidence shows a violation of a federal law,
it doesn't specify that he must be found guilty in federal court.
Bragg is about to reveal his.case, and the Trump defense doesn't act like they have this in the bag, so I think the answers to your questions will be answered in tbe next few weeks.
We're about to see all the evidence, why so quick to judge?

I'm going by the fact that I don't think that Bragg is stupid, agrand jury bought it, and multiple judges have ruled in it.
This is the weakest of the four criminally charged cases, so I would bet that the defense isn't as easy as some here portray.
I could be wrong.
We definately will see, and I will accept the jury's determination.

Bragg might very well make that argument, but it shouldn't hold any water. Such a thing doesn't even need to be specified.
My take is that a conviction is inevitable, regardless of the facts. The judge won't let a silly thing like lack of standing interfere in this one. I'm clearly on the record that this entire case is a sham.

I respect that opinion, but Bragg, whatever is said about him, isn't stupid, and I would think would have an answer for that, but if not, Trump should be found not guilty of the felony charges.
