Yes, God forbid we have lower gas and food prices, inflation under control, young people able to afford their first house, and no wars in the middle east or Europe. That would be just horrible. Did you even read what you wrote before hitting send?
No doubt. I think Biden has two advantages that could help in swing states. First, come September and October, Obama will help him campaign in those states. Clinton will also help. Republican ex-presidents dislike Trump, so he won't have that kind of support. Second, Biden has a bigger war chest. As we speak, they have the ground game in action. Ads, knocking on doors, community events, etc.
Yes, God forbid we have lower gas and food prices, inflation under control, young people able to afford their first house, and no wars in the middle east or Europe. That would be just horrible. Did you even read what you wrote before hitting send?
For what credible reason would ANYBODY not want that, including Biden?
Again, this is settled fact. But in rightwinglandia everything they disagree with is some great conspiracy. The country is doomed because facts have no place on the right anymore. Everything is some X-Files level conspiracy to get Donald Trump and as we all now from the righties, they are after Trump and they will be next. Donald Trump is the only thing between them and gulags full of republicans. I cant anymore…it’s reached levels of ridiculousness that seriously scare honest people. Its not directed at you alone Jack, but I seriously doubt we as a country get thru this period becasue facts have no place int he debate, and everyone thinks that some guy on twitter has the “real facts”. We’re done as a country when that happens, and the Elons of the world are making sure it happens so he can make a few more $$$$$
Yes with all the fake news and scandals about Trump and the cover ups of the Biden scandals the Dems/Left/MSM engage in it is amazing but as you said Biden has been a horrible President and an even worse campaigner and the worry is will he even make it to the election.
You obviously base your opinion in the left biased networks you listed and not from actually watching FOX News reading you assertions about them. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/e-...tyle-back-under-spotlight-eye-popping-verdict https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-legal-team-files-new-trial-in-e-jean-carroll-case https://www.foxnews.com/politics/tr...o-e-jean-carroll-by-monday-or-post-bond-judge https://www.foxnews.com/video/6346033887112 https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-ordered-pay-more-80-million-e-jean-carroll-defamation-trial https://www.foxnews.com/video/6345663234112 and that is just part of the first search page.
And how did Obama/Biden do with their demand side policies? Worse economic recovery in modern history driving DOWN the LFPR while taking a paltry $161B deficit to $1,400B in just two years. What did Biden do to the strong recovery he inherited, drove us into recession and 9% inflation and a yet recovered LFPR and his EXPLODING deficits and debt.
If you are going to quote someone — make sure it is formatted correctly if you expect a response As to your “points”, I am able to comprehend that global factors have influenced several of those items. The United States is doing better on the inflation front than any of our G7 peers. Fuel prices are fine and we are currently producing more oil than at any other point in our history. The housing market is outta wack because of a ton of issues from increases in investors buying a larger percentage of “starter homes” to those prior 2% rates (that trump pushed to prop up his failed economic policy) keeping owners from selling. Do tell us though — since I am sure you didn’t just respond with vague propaganda — what will trump do to lower the cost of housing or make it more accessible, lower fuel prices without shutting down domestic production or lower food costs?
Believe this: no matter how you slice it and dice it, there's no way hell that Donald Trump is going to get 270 Electoral Votes in this year's election. Far too many slackers (who VOTE) have gotten very used to sucking on government welfare teats to allow anybody but another Democrat of some kind to take over the White House. Make book on it! And I don't say that as a person who likes Trump, either. I just wish that this year, for the first time this century, we could have just one candidate who is really worthy to be President of the United States!
I did — they are off from peak and inline with typical rates over time. We also pay less than our peers. Pricing is not set by the government and seeing that we are at record production levels, how would you propose we decrease it. I see you have taken numerous points made and completely ignored them — likely because all you have is propaganda with very little information outside of that and zero nuance. How typical for you people.
So it really is just a weird coincidence that gas prices were $4 under Obama, $2 under Trump, and $3.80 under Biden? Probably the same weird coincidence that there were no real wars or conflicts during Trump's term. What points have I ignored?
Yes, God forbid we have lower gas and food prices, inflation under control, young people able to afford their first house, and no wars in the middle east or Europe. That would be just horrible. Did you even read what you wrote before hitting send?
Wait, you think food and energy prices under Biden were caused by something he did ?
Fuel prices were only 2 bucks during covid. Do you really want me to explain how supply and demand works? As for “no new wars” — there were a ton of other countries involved in wars — the US is not currently in a war and Biden ended one that trump let skirt his entire term. Again, what do you propose be done about the price of housing or the price of fuel or food. Or are you one of the people that believes the president is responsible for everything that happens in the world. Was trump responsible for covid or is that dddifferent
lol like there was no protests under trump?? Nazi yelling about Jews and running people over? The George Floyd protests?
So what your chart shows is, gas was sky high during Obama, low during Trump, and high again with Biden? Thanks for proving my point. Dropping interest rates, opening up reserves, and not pushing for 50% electric vehicles by 2030 would be a nice start. Are you seriously going to bring up Biden's disaster when withdrawing from Afganistan? lmao I've been reading for 8 years how every problem under the sun is the result of some bad orange man. That doesn't apply to Biden or any democrat? Got it.
It was the same price under trump pre covid that it is under Biden. Ah, so you believe the president can “drop interest rates”. That explains basically everything you believe. Interest rates are set by the fed that is chaired by a Republican. Do you even understand what the strategic reserve is or how it works? How would relaxing targets for fuel efficient vehicles lower the price of gas? WTF are you even talking about? Targets are not law btw and they are constantly revised (and already have been) Thats what happens when the exiting president negotiates with a terrorist group and doesn’t work with local government. But yes, absolutely, Biden gets credit for ending that two trillion dollar war started by another Republican. A ton of issues we are seeing today can be traced back to actions carried out by his administration. Biden sucks don’t get me wrong but the comparisons you are trying to make are despicable at best. Care to identify how a president can lower interest rates? How does that not add to inflationary pressures? He cannot just push for more quantitative easing like he did last time as that would likely cause hyper inflation. How does opening the strategic reserve lower fuel prices permanently? You ignored food costs. How do they lower those? You ignored housing prices. How do they lower those? Or are you pushing for increased wages? Why can’t you actually respond to any of this with any proposed policy positions?
A president can influence interest rates. He can also fire the idiot running it. You know what else they can do? Not sign every stupid spending bill that crosses his desk. How about cutting some spending? Nope. Democrats only know one thing, tax and spend. Did you notice the budget Biden just proposed? You want my policy position? Cut government spending and lower taxes. you do realize that food prices, and essentially everything else is influenced by gas prices? You know what else influences food prices? Labor. Paying some clown $20 an hour to hand me a burger was a great idea liberals had. Why would you want home values lowered? Well, I guess if you're in your 50s and still live in your parents basement, you'd wish homes for free. But people that worked their whole lives to buy a house feel differently. The interest rate went up 3% in the last year and a half. That is what is slowing the housing market. From my point of view, everything we see today is a direct result of liberals.
False, thank you for proving what I already expected. trump signed more spending than all other presidents combined. But sure, whatever you need to tell yourself Let me guess, that doesn’t count because… <reasons> Gas and labor do absolutely impact the price of goods. Economists have shown that the largest influence, currently, is profits. I run two business, in a very red state. Our minimum wage is 7.25 and finding anyone below 15 is next to impossible. Is that also liberals fault? You mentioned home values (affordability) — did you already forget? So you want to lower interest rates — which the president cannot do — which will increase demand but not address supply and you believe that will decrease home prices? Or are you saying people don’t make enough money and they should be making more? Because I know you are not saying that existing home prices are high because of interest rates… Thats a very interesting pov Do you believe that slashing interest rates would cause runaway inflation because that’s why the Republican ran fed has jacked up interest rates — to cool the market. Did they not have basic economics in the 1970’s? I have no doubt you believe that seeing what you just posed above.
