See this is how it should work, allow innovation and capitalism to work together. Hope it works.

And STILL requires limited finite resources. It is only less dependent on them.

We could argue about what will run out first - Lithium with the small amount being used with these sodium batteries or oil, which is burned like there’s no tomorrow, but there isn’t much objectivity here.

Good grief we have HUGE supplies and reserves of oil, natural gas and coal. We have to tear up huge swatches of earth destroying the environment going after the huge quantities of the rare earth metals that will be required. And you STILL have to generate the electricity.

Like I said - “not much objectivity”. You ignore the continual everyday raping of our land to extract fossil fuels, along with all the associated uncovered toxic wastes, and the resultant pollutants and CO2 release from burning, and then criticize extraction of a much-more-relatively small amount of an element that is largely mined on the surface, and has no resulting pollutants or CO2, and support a renewables-powered future.

Actually that a pretty darn clean and once gone unnoticable. Compare it to the land required for wind farms and solar farms that can only meet a fraction of the need and you STILL have to get the electricity for your batteries from fossiel fuels.

There are rooftops all over the world. Spent EV batteries can store power.

The New York Times has Trump leading where it counts.

Trump Leads in 5 Key States, as Young and Nonwhite Voters Express Discontent With Biden

A new set of Times/Siena polls, including one with The Philadelphia Inquirer, reveal an erosion of support for the president among young and nonwhite voters upset about the economy and Gaza.

Donald J. Trump leads President Biden in five crucial battleground states, a new set of polls shows, as a yearning for change and discontent over the economy and the war in Gaza among young, Black and Hispanic voters threaten to unravel the president’s Democratic coalition.

The surveys by The New York Times, Siena College and The Philadelphia Inquirer found that Mr. Trump was ahead among registered voters in a head-to-head matchup against Mr. Biden in five of six key states: Michigan, Arizona, Nevada, Georgia and Pennsylvania. Mr. Biden led among registered voters in only one battleground state, Wisconsin.

Luckily for Biden, the Election ISN'T being held today...
There is still about 6 months to go...
Several eternities of poltical cycles to shift the polling landscape...
Polls are worthless until about Mid-October...
And, even then, the only poll that counts is Election Day...
Polls (essentially) mean nothing at this point....

It doesn't matter how much oil is in the ground if they can't drill for it.
