This case is about invoices, voucher entries, and payment checks. Just think about that for a bit. That's what they say he falsified. The first ever indictment of an American ex-president should be for something that actually matters.

 

Firstly, so what that he is an ex-president

secondly, he wasn't a President, ex or otherwise when the crimes were committed

Thirdly, why should he be treated any differently to other New Yorkers where many have been found guilty of falsifying business records

It is- he is already on trial for trying to overturn the election through a variety of illegal actions, but trump has managed to fiddle the justice system with endless delays to those trials, so this one came first.
But don’t worry, trump will get his day in court for being the only American president ever to try to steal an election that he lost.

In reality this case is about Trump & Co. colluding for more than a year to pay off people to keep their mouths shut about negative stories about Trump that could influence the 2016 election in a negative way for him.

The doorman Dino was the first person that David Pecker ever paid, $30,000 in Dec.2015, to protect Trump and we now know according to Pecker's testimony that in prior years he never paid off anyone for Trump to keep the wolves at bay.
This was a new scheme and this was all about the 2016 election.

Pecker again anted up, this time $150,000 to Karen McDougal in the summer of 2016.
Enter Trump/Cohen, $130,000 to Stormy two weeks before the Nov 2016 election.

Yep!
Trump did falsify the $130,000 pay-out to Stormy claiming it was a legal expense when it was hush money being repaid to Cohen aka an " in-kind contribution" to a candidate.
And the rest is history!
