Palestine is recognized as a country by 139 nations.

The only reason Palestine isn't a full member of the UN has been the repeated vetoes of the USA to overcome the vast majority who recognize Palestine.

He designed and is carrying out a genocide against the citizens of Palestine.

Seriously - do you support genocide?

Israel is not winning its war on Gaza.

Israel has made war on Gaza continuously for decades.

The latest round of genocide is killing tens of thousands of civilians, but it is not defeating the defense of Gaza.

Exactly!! But FB seems to be avoiding the issue completely , which means there is a reluctance to see the whole picture. (and see the Israeli leader for what he is.)
He will protract that "war" as long as he can if it suits his pollical needs and saves him from justice. A lot of Israeli's are on to him as well.

There can be no individualism without freedom of speech, which democrats and republicans have been trampling on a regular basis.

So, therefore you need to wait until wiser people choose the direction in which you point.

He has planned and overseen the slaughter of the innocent on a scale that Hamas could only dream of.

and this "war" is fostering even more rage for groups like the Hamas . War was never a solution to terrorism. Terrorism is is a bit like a malignancy. No cure, just periods of inactivity, between increased activity of the cells.

Well, it is a damn good thing you will never be a diplomat. Pulling a trigger is the one thing we do not need any more of.

True, but there are reasons to have some limits on speech.

Speech can do serious damage that can not be rectified simply by having the damaged party(s) speak.

Criminals can't have fair trials if they are allowed to scare the CRAP out of jurors.

Yup. The war on terror is just the arms industry seizing an opportunity to create massive profits. Violence never has and never will end terror. Only diplomacy can do that, and only if it is done from a position of honest good will for the other side. That is something 'the powers that be' seem to have trouble with. They always want to find a way to make a profit rather than make the world a better place.

I don't think procedural things like rules in a court is the problem. I think the silencing of ideas is the problem, especially when done by the government, and ESPECIALLY when it goes against government agendas. Thought control and thought censorship by controlling what messages are allowed to be voiced.

It appears that Israel is making enemies of all others in the region.

And, respect for the US is strongly tied to Israel right now.

I would suggest that America is losing.

The leadership of Palestine and others are meeting in Moscow to work on a new government for Palestine.

In the past, we would have been part of that discussion.

and all too often nations prefere to demonstrate their "strength and power" with military proweess........ as opposed to INTELLIGENT , humanitarian , and diiplomatic resolution to problems. The motives for wars are seldom what they seem on the surface.

It's not an easy topic. Of course you have a point here.

But, the assault on our courts is a direct attack on the rule of law in America.

And, our government can't be stifling the expression of our university students and others - as Netanyahu is ordering Biden to do.

Watch the podcast - the issues underpinning this predate the Hamas attack and suspicion is that Bibi is trying to “wag the dog”

You’re making a circular argument. Do liberals even understand what is meant by the term “rugged individualism?’

I don't see much difference between liberals and conservatives. I used to think that conservatives fit the "rugged individual" description for the most part, back when I considered myself one, back in my infantry days. But these days, supposed "conservatives" are just as insistent on silencing and controlling the thoughts of others as "liberals" are. The uniparty has long ago consumed both ends of that particular political spectrum, chanelling its energies to keeping the status quo of the elite.

The true "rugged individuals" these days reject labels of "conservative" and "liberal", and political party, and instead think critically about each individual idea and event on their own and come to their own conclusions, avoiding the group think of conservatives and liberals.
