I was unaware that gods are allowed to vote, let alone discriminate.

And he wants to control the Fed. So if he needs a loan for a building project he shouldn't be involved in as prez (but anything goes in a second term) he'll lower interest rates.

Yes. Already happening and will continue.

Since Eve women have always decided to give birth or abort.

    Sure. That's nothing new.

    Zero of this is accurate

The president has never sat on the FED

Eve never existed, you using your invisible friend as an excuse to strip rights away from women is telling though

    Posse Comitatus

Glad to see y’all openly cheering religious authoritarian tactics though. Better than you hiding it and acting like you don’t.

I guess elderly people don’t really need to care about long term consequences of their vote as they won’t be around to see the results.

Sorry, not buying it. 2021 covid was still a large concern. Businesses were still locked down until June. Title 42 was "officially" still in effect (only thanks to the courts) though I don't think really enforced as hard as it was under Trump. The Remain in Mexico policy was ended. And the people that were coming here illegally were wearing Biden t-shirts. This is definitely not a thing you can blame on Trump.

You seem unwilling to progress from the tyranny that is the Biden regime. And your version of hell simply translates into, suddenly, your dream of absolute power over the people will crumble. You won't understand why folks don't want your version of tyranny. Tyrants never do.....

The president appoints the chairman and vice chairman of the FED. He has sway over them. That's called politics.

Eve couldn't have been my friend because I'm much younger than her. But if you don't believe in Eve then you name the first female on earth. Maybe it was Helen or Joan. There had to be a first. My point, that went over your head, is that it's the females who determine abortion or birth. Always has been, always will be. To pass a law either way means little. And, to march around in circles with little signs expressing an opinion either way don't mean jack. If you have the money, you can find a doctor who will abort you. If you don't have the money you can go to the lady around the corner.

The elderly vote what is good for them -- just like the young and the middle age vote what's good for them.

    nihil sub sole

That truly is a piece of malarkey. The MAGA slogan, the symbolic embrace of the flag, the jingoistic "America first" mantra, those things are empty words and gestures designed to keep the rubes from noticing his past actions (like the failed theft of the election) and future promises, are fundamentally un-democratic plans to enhance Don's power................not move the country forward.

What tyranny? How is advocating for greater voting participation among qualified voters, as opposed to the opposite from the POT, tyrannical? How is promoting equality, access to healthcare (especially for women), a more progressive tax system, tyrannical? How is respecting the will of the voting public and allowing for the peaceful transfer of power tyrannical?

No, we can control the border with more resources, and be more humane, both are doable. The border issue is a resource issue. No president in history, to date, has solved the border problem. Trump got better numbers, but if your numbers are the result of sins against humanity, that would be like bragging you make good money by hurting people,. which is nothing to brag about. Republicans don't seem to understand this, let alone the fact that we have a labor shortage in America, and Trump's border policy exacerbated that problem. His policy is driven by xenophobia.
trump's approach is tyranny because it's the province of Congress, not the President to 'cut spending'. The president can lay out his agenda, and try his best to persuade, pressure, etc., congress, but what I gather from Trump is that he wants to DICTATE, as in 'DICTATOR'. I think this is the point you missed. Now, if someone wants your agenda, then you guys sell your agenda to the public, and hopefully they will buy it, and we will do the same, and the best ideas wins the hearts and minds of 'we the people', which is democracy. Trump is ANTI - DEMOCRACY, which is THE POINT.
So I gather you are against abortion bans. Dems can live with 'no gov funding', but where there is an issue with that point is saving a woman's life after a miscarriage, and the woman is poor and has to rely on a social program to save her life. There gov funding must be allowed. But, regular abortions, customers pay, dems can live with that.
I doubt it, but what's good for the goose, etc.,, etc. that one works both ways.
No, this is Trump's total disrespect for the rule of law, the chaos of which would follow would please Putin. Your comment is a strawman.
No one is disagreeing with the notion that contributing members of nato should spend 2% of the GDP, which is part of the member agreement, but that fact shouldn't be the focus at the total ignoring of the other more salient aspects in foreign policy which is what Trump does. Trump's approach is narrow and ignorant. Donald Trump's transactional approach to foreign policy, often characterized by a focus on immediate, tangible gains rather than long-term strategic relationships, frequently overlooks the crucial roles of cultural, historical, and contextual nuances that are vital for deep-rooted diplomatic success. This method tends to ignore the complex socio-political landscapes and historical ties that influence state behavior, reducing foreign interactions to simplistic quid-pro-quo exchanges. Such an approach can lead to the undermining of trust and respect between nations, erode long-standing alliances, and disregard the subtleties needed to navigate international affairs effectively, potentially resulting in unstable and short-sighted foreign policies.

Trump said that if a country doesn't ''pay up' he would ENCOURAGE Russia to do 'whatever the hell they want' to the country, and we wouldn't come to their defense', a statement which our NATO partners look at with astonishment and dismay. It's incredibly irresponsible for a candidate for President to utter such a thing. Not only that, it demonstrates with bold clarity Trump is unfit for the office. He demonstrates is total ignorance and buffoonery.
Tariffs, in my view, are only good on manufacturing of finished products. Tariffs on raw materials is taxation without representation, to the American Public. On finished products, it should be only vital and strategic areas, large areas where many jobs need to be protected. The only time I would find a tariff on a raw material acceptable, for example, say steel, if 1. American jobs need protecting in the industry, and #2, there is a sufficient supply in America (or from other countries than China / Russia ) to meet America's needs. It also must be noted that while Trump was touting 'buy American' to the steel industry, his companies were buying steel from China for their construction projects, demonstrating that Trump is a hypocrite.

    https://www.newsweek.com/2016/10/21/how-donald-trump-ditched-us-steel-workers-china-505717.html

I also mentioned some more stuff in the final paragraph which you didn't comment on. Care to comment?

You are not buying the trend line posted?

    Ok

Do tell though, why would these people be wearing Biden shirts? Who would have given them out?

Seeing that his immigration policy isn’t exactly popular with voter — why would democrats or their supporters do this?

The shirts “were provided by a local organization in an attempt to pressure the Biden administration to allow more migrants to enter the United States.”

So I was correct, it wasn’t his supporters — it was an activist organization set to pressure the administration.

Personally I think we need to militarize the boarder, make applicants apply for asylum at embassies or consulates outside of the US and massively overhaul the immigration process while simultaneously cutting all benefits and aid to anyone here illegally including visa overstays.

Not surprisingly, I couldn't find a quote of Trump in the linked article saying he's going to monitor pregnancies. I'm pretty sure there is a lot more dishonesty in the article and the OP too.

No one in the government should have the power to set interest rates.

No one is even proposing that.

The president already has that authority. He doesn't need consent from the governor to federalize the national guard.

I'm skeptical of the feasibility of that approach, but I would not be at all surprised if Trump turned back to the right on abortion after being elected. Currently, he's in "win the general election" mode where they pretend to be more moderate than they are.

His position currently is that due to Dobbs, it's now a States issue, so as a Federal issue...it's over. That's an opinion that matches mine and probably many others on the right as well. The entirety of the legal case against Roe was there wasn't any basis for a Federal position.

But maybe you really think Trump is deeply concerned about the issue and is holding his fire on that, but that wouldn't be my guess.

I am unsure if Trump really has any values of any kind other than himself, so everything is about getting elected and pleasing people who give him the respect and adoration he craves - to get more respect and adoration. So if he thinks that passing a federal ban will get him the praise he craves from people on his team, he may do it. But historically, he seems to worry more about keeping America white (strongly anti-immigration, but openly wishes for more of them to come from "nice countries" and names white countries) and banning abortions federally could interfere with that agenda. If that is one thing he actually cares about, then for that reason he may leave it to the states after getting elected.
