Right. It doesn't sound even a smidgen close to constitutional.

Can you support that based on something actually in the U.S. Constitution?

Not disgusted in the least. Its his baby also. I don't blame him. Like it or not, scientifically speaking, that baby IS a human life.

So now women are forced to do paternity tests for any man who claims it may be his kid??

If you beleive that, you better not vote for anyone who supports baby killing at any time for any reason.

Single issue voters go both ways on this issue.

Contrary to popular belief, men DO wish to take on the responsibilities that you point out here. LINK: Deadbeat Dads: New Study Examines Non-Custodial Fathers | TIME

Many who are considered "deadbeat dads" still often support their children to the best of their ability, just often are not able to do it the way the courts demand. Which only focuses on money and nothing else.

What's the problem with that? How many men are paying for children that aren't even theirs because the woman claimed its his? Far more than there should be. Quite frankly I think paternity tests should be mandatory the day the child is born. Before the birth certificate is signed by the guy.

It's not a belief. It's a scientific fact. Are you denying science?

Commonsense supports it. People travel to other states to smoke recreational pot, buy liquor on Sunday and assisted suicide...all seen as legal even if people reside in states where it is not.

There are instances where you can be charged with crimes in the US even if you performed the act in another country where it is legal. For instance: LINK: Crimes Against Minors Abroad (state.gov) I don't see why this would be any different.

We aren’t talking about that, we’re talking about the woman saying it’s not his or refusing to say at all. Then what?

This is a pretty crazy overreach: that a state can convict people for "crimes" committed in states where the action is legal . . . that's ****ing authoritarian insanity. But at least you are owning it. Props for that.

I'm anti-abortion. Wait till the child is born then get the DNA test done.

Do you support what happens in that link I provided? If so, then perhaps you can explain the difference to me.

My position is that, if you go to a state where something is legal, and you do a legal thing, your home state shouldn't be able to hold that against you. Perhaps you can explain the authoritarianism that you are promoting in place of that?

'scientifically speaking,' it's a developing human life with 'human life' being an extremely subjective phrase. Most understand that an embryo doesn't have the same value as a fetus and that a fetus doesn't have the same value as a born child. For example, you would save one living infant from a burning building over 1,000 embryos because you know there is a difference. If a 12-year-old would die while giving birth, we would abort immediately because we know there is a difference. If a person believes in saving the 1,000 embryos or sacrificing the 12-year-old, then there may be some honesty in believing a fetus has same value as a living human being. Otherwise, they're just kidding themselves to feel better about a tragic part of life.

She just needs to go on and do it. Let him seek a paternity test after that to prove that it's his or maybe she was never pregnant to begin with.

You avoided answering my question. I already know your position. You've already made it clear. Do you support what happens in that link I provided? I do. For the same reason that I support States doing the same thing. Just because something is legal where you go to, doesn't mean that something shouldn't be something that is prosecuted for. For instance, if you go to Albania it is perfectly legal to have sex with a consenting 14 year old. Here in the US that is illegal, and you can be prosecuted for such in the US, even if you were in Albania where it is legal. As well it should be. And I'm pretty sure you would agree on that point. Since I support prosecuting anyone that has sex with a 14 year old no matter where it happened.... why shouldn't I also support charging someone with the killing of an unborn child just because it happens in an area where its legal?

I've stated my position. If your question is not relevant to that position, then it is off topic. Albania isn't a state, by the way. Now you know.

A 1 year old is still a developing human life. So that argument is null and void. Stage of development is not a consideration for those that are anti-abortion.

And no, "human life" is in no way shape or form a "subjective phrase". Biology shows that it is life, and genetics shows that it has human DNA, further it shows that it has its own unique DNA markers separate from any other human. Science has confirmed that a ZEF is indeed a life, and has its own unique human DNA. Therefore it IS a human life.
