Well, people can read what they want. I think it is pretty silly for people to follow Kim Kardashian so closely. It's like people are bored of their own lives, so they want to live Kim's. But Bristol Palin is not as famous as Kim Kardashian, and the main reason people would want to read her memoirs is because of her mom.

So what. Please clue me in on why Kardashian is so famous? Is it her talent? (sarcasm, she has none)

This is America, it is a free country and good for those that can sell a product. Anyone who could get people to buy a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing "Pet Rock" is incredible, good for them.

Her presence on the show created political fervor. Sarah Palin fans organized get-out-the-vote campaigns to help her win, because in Bristol Palin's words, "Going out there and winning this would mean a lot. It would be like a big middle finger to all the people out there who hate my mom and hate me."

If the ratings went up, it was because of political vindictiveness, not because of her talent or anything she herself earned. She wouldn't even have been on the show for any other reason than being the daughter of Sarah Palin.

So you don't think people should actually earn success on their own merit? or simply by who they are related to... Oh wait, "making some coin" on this book would be a "big middle finger" to all those who hate her and her mom. Right?

<<Mod Edit>> Personal insult removed First off, who said giving birth to a child is a mistake? Is that some kind of hypocrite, xtian-conservative faux pas? I though all life was precious?

Next, millions of girls unfortunately give birth out of wedlock. Should they write a book about it? Maybe appear on Oprah and talk about it? Accountability? Where is the praise for the black and latino teen moms who have to struggle, who do not get abortions? All I see you hypocrites do is refer to them as breeding rabbits.

Bristol Palin® is a fake, fraud and phony who should go on tour, with her mom...in a Circus.

Keep demeaning the kids of politicians. I hope some adult doesn't do it to your kids someday.

Wow, one pathetic and ignorant comment? The implication was that 'all conservatives' think this way. That's why he said it.

Not to excuse it, but 70% of black births are out of wedlock with an absent father.

No, the poster said "hypocrites." You are the one who translated that to "conservatives".

Yes, and since he is a devout liberal, who else would he be referring to?

He and many others continue to swim in this pool of hate for the daughter of a former politician, why would a supposedly sane person do that?

Are you that ignorant? How many books have you read about a random person? All autobiographies are about people that are known. Stop with your crap.

    Basically...

I have about as much interest in this as I have in reading Justin Bieber's memoir.

Memoirs by kids is "not even wrong."

"Hypocrite" doesn't automatically imply "conservative" to me.

I've also noticed a lot of hate for those who don't embrace and adore Bristol Palin just because she is Sarah Palin's daughter.

Just leave the girl alone for a change.

She isn't an elected official. Never has been. Never will be.

Why all the hate for a 20 year old girl?

No hypocrite is not exclusive to conservatives, but seeing how this is a very partisan forum, it most certainly applies.

Yes some embrace this because she is Palin's daughter, so what? Is she still not innocent? What has she done to deserve this level of vitriol?

I defend Palin and her children because of the hate that is administered from the left. People can disagree with her politics all they want, good for them if they do, but it doesn't end there, their personal hate is altogether something else. Americans should not put up with this kind of rhetoric from either side of the political aisle.

I agree with very little Obama has done since becoming president, but you will not find one mention of a personal attacks from me, and especially directed at his family.

Then don't buy the book, and move on. Keep your hate to yourself.

just speaking the truth, it's hardly an interesting or inspirieng story worth the paper its printed on. learn to take criticism of your heros instead of being an over protectionist fanboy.

She chose to publish this book so shes opening up for criticism.

Criticism and personal attacks are two different things. You will not read the book as you said, but you are quick to berate her, why is that?

Oh yeah, her last name is Palin.

Never again let a despicable, lying, projecting progressive leftist get away with telling YOU to "tone down the rhetoric"....

these vile creatures have exploited political correctness, and the carefully nurtured perception of being "accepting", "compassionate" and "tolerant" towards others (if, and only if they fit within thier approved 'victim groups') for far too long...

    i just told you why.

Any child star who writes a memior about their spoiled life in their parents house is ridiclous. i dont care if its Beiber, Hanna Montana or a Palin.

Its hardly a personal attack. If you think im targeting Palin grow up, i saw the OP and thought it was ridiclous.

No, it's hardly a fair criticism of a book you will never read. Now if you read it, you would have some validity to your comments, but alas, that ain't gonna happen.

Your personal attack is your gossip rag perception of them.

Why all the hate, you ask..It's the nature of the beast..Like a pack of rabid dogs..the left descends on anything that is not their mirror image..You have a thought of your own..attack.

There is a simple solution if you don't like her..don't buy the book..

I'm waiting for some of these special folk to tell us what they've done to excel at life..Probably, not so much..mmmmm..I'm thinking that they're way envious..

I love how they back up these attacks with this golden jem:

"You guys attack Obama for X...Y...Z"!

The difference being, which they never get, is that Obama is an elected official. Bristol Palin is not....lol.

They think attacking Bristol Palin is = to attacking Obama....lol.

You can't make this kind of comedy gold up.
