    It's like discussing taxes with Tim Geitner. They know the truth, but they just can't bring themselves to admitting it.

    Palin's emails evaluated by liberal experts displays her writing at a level above an average CEO.

    Deal with it.

    The Palin / Couric interview showed her impatience and intolerance for bull crap. I believe she learned from the event... don't give Democratic Party shills interviews. They just want to frustrate with senseless babble.

    What's sad is that you don't get it.

    I bet you think Charlie Gibson knew what the "Bush Doctrine" was too? She got it right, he got it wrong, and the Liberal (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) declared himself right.

    Too bad for you that her emails revealed a high level intellect and an effective executive. I know... it burns you to the bones. :twisted:

    I would say she was more nuanced and less extreme.

    Palin would be worse also that palin is gone, replaced by the thing that takes bus tours and she isnt running so its pointless.

    Jimmy Carter is a good person, but he wasn't so great at being president.

    Palin is probably a good mother, but I wouldn't trust her with the presidency.

    She is average. She is silly.. and she is pretty. Is that enough?

    Carter had really bad intel on Iran because our people were basking in the light of the Shah. You know that I am old as dirt, so don't ask me how I know.

    Fair enough. I'm just saying that people seem to be making an equivalency between how she led her personal life vs. how she could govern.

    Being good at one has limited relevancy on the other. By the same token, being bad at one is limited in relevance as well.

    Well, I believe that the hostage situation wasn't really his fault. There's even evidence to suggest that H. W. Bush "influenced" the situation for his benefit.

    I wasn't too impressed with his other policies either though. Carter seemed like a guy with his heart in the right place but with a very naive approach to governance.

    I don't think he's as bad as many suggest he is, but he wasn't one of our better presidents either.

    I think he was probably a lot more honest in his speeches than most though.

    Carter might have been weak as a president, but he was always honest. He is a Christian and the life he leads reflects that, although conservatives (especially Christian ones), disregard that. Conservatives esteem George Bush as a "Christian" but little in his life reflects that, other than his claim to be one.
