Bush did say "no new taxes." Then the Democrats cajoled and bargained with him into passing into law new taxes because Democrats love to raise taxes and pass laws that empower them and make individuals dependent wards of the state.

Bush rightly and correctly lost his re-election bid which should send a very clear message to anyone else stupid enough to listen to Democrats and Liberals.

So tell me again what this has to do with what I stated above?
