    Honor killings are almost unique to Muslims, though. What other group in the world has fathers nearly decapitating their own daughters for being raped? Clearly the religion and culture has something to do with it. If it was as random as you posit, then other groups would be doing this same thing in similar numbers. They aren't.

    No they're not. They're not uncommon to non-Muslims in India and SEA as well.

    You do know there are high percentages of Muslims in those areas, right? But, assuming you're correct, I would wager that the honor killings are, overwhelmingly, performed by Muslims.

    He should have supported his daughters with unconditional love during such a horrible time in their lives.
    Second to that would be a vasectomy in recognition of the millions of cases of sexual violence perpetrated by men against women.
    If he really wanted to go town, amputate a nut. But only after the immediate trauma for his family had passed otherwise he's just displaying typical diva behaviour...it's all about how your pain affects me me me.

    Then, if he's insane, why wait until his daughters were raped? You aren't making any sense. Honor killings in the West are occurring, when Muslim daughters act too Western. Your apologies for their father's actions dishonors their memories.

    Honor Killing. That says it all.

    It's uncivilized, savage, brutal, and NOT what a father should do to his traumatized child.

    But this DOES happen in nature. Animals DO kill the weak, ill, and injured.

    Nawww, it's saying that it's got nothing to do with being Muslim I think.
    Each family performed a horrible act for their own reasons, and it can happen in any religion. The murderer is ONLY thinking about him/herself in a selfish way.

    Just because one murderer uses an excuse of religion in some way doesn't mean that it's condoned by that religion.
