Not many forums happily provide a congenial platform for Nazis, though there are plenty of unimpressive right wingers. Maybe it depends on the level and intent. Racist people who subscribe to the "Anarchist Cookbook" are a bit of a concern.

No one could complain about restriction on freedom of speech. Just read the Euroforum...some of us have stopped posting there because of racists permeating it with nonsense.

For a while there I thought the racists were leaving to go to another forum where they could do their hate speech circle jerk in private but unfortunately this place continues to be polluted by their Aryan race masturbatory fantasies.

 

But at least people can see what loons they are.

 

That's the dilemma. If you want a place where you can actually discuss real political issues in a civilized environment this place isn't it most of the time. Every time someone makes a good point its buried in a torrent of hate speech.

The one public service this board does provide well is it clearly shows that there is a disgusting racist element in society. You can't fight it if you don't know its there. It would be a great relief to us though if they could confine ALL the race war threads to the race forum.

I don't think that anyone is denying that people have made false accusations of racism from time to time. Obviously the false accusations of racism stirred up by the right wing blogger Andrew Breitbart are a well known example. And we should discuss how he manipulated the truth to stir up the race baiting masses, but I don't think it needs to be discussed every day in 5-10 different threads. Likewise I don't think there is really a need to selectively post various crimes committed by one race or another 10 times a day.

I purposely don't watch local news because its all sex and violence and idiotic interviews with "the man on the street." We all get it. Crime happens sometimes. I actually live in a high crime area at the moment. Its close to work and convenient. I have never been a victim of violent crime neither have I witnessed a crime of any type since I've moved here. My problem with these racist posters is they constantly go scouring the internet looking for these stories. They ignore all the crimes committed by whites and post all the crime stories they can find about blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, etc. Its pure race baiting. At a certain point the mods should asked some of these repeat offenders what's their point.

Its amazing. We have troops dying overseas every day and none of these so called patriots writes about those deaths. Instead we get the flashmob twitter feed. In a country where violent crime has been steadily declining for years I really have to wonder what is the obsession.

Total bs.. Liberals in the US are naturally racist and discriminatory and they don't even know it.

Laws like ADEA and ADA which takes those who are older and disabled, put them in a "protected" category in which they have to be hired over a person younger and non-disabled because they are older and disabled. So they are saying without those laws they would never get hired because they are older and disabled. Same applies to Civil Rights Act of 1964 which targets minorities saying a African, Hispanic, Woman or whatever is not on par with a white male, but lesser so they need be "helped".

A few years ago a bunch of Connecticut firefighters (19 white and 1 Hispanic) tested better then all their counterparts and they were denied promotion because some other minority Firefighters complained about the test being unfair.

ACLU argued that the minorities rights were violated, even though the Test was standardized.

It went to the Supreme Court.. Supreme Court ruled in favor (5-4) for the 20 that passed the test. read about it here.
