The funny thing about that anti-Palin rant is that the heckler was gay.

Asking someone if they're gay isn't really very witty. It's pretty much a cliche nowadays in this sort of situation. Of course, so is calling your mother a whore.

 

She didn't say "yeah... well yer gay", which has basically a 1 in 50 shot at being right...

She said "You want her dead? Why is that?"
To which he replies "she's evil... she's evil" hystrionically.

That is an astute observation, and left him without any place to go from there, which is witty. Using ones wits and observations to diffuse an aggressive situation.


I am not a Palin supporter. You will find years of negative comments from me about Sarah. I shouldn't have to be in the position of addressing the situation with her daughter realistically, to focus on the actual deplorable behavior here... but... Here were are.

It was astute, it was witty, and she completely owned the situation.

The crap coming from the left is just amazing. The daughter of a conservative has a kid out of wedlock, and the left takes to calling her a whore, and trash, and... well frankly. It seems like this guy really seems to represent the lefts feelings, and were sort of rooting for him... a grown man, spitting vile and borderline threatening epithets at an underage girl at a restaurant/bar because they don't like her mothers media image... and are now insensed that she stood up for herself and shut him down.

I will... never understand this mentality.

 

Did I say he was in the right? Bristol is her own person. She has no responsibility for her mother's politics. The guy was a creep for even bringing it up. Even more so for bringing it up in such a hateful manner.

 

Actually, I think her husband and his friends allows her to express her ideas as long as its pro-muslim, pro-arab, pro-liberal, etc.... If she ever falters, its back to the dungeon.

I agree. I am straight, but if some one called me gay I wouldn't be offended. However, if some one called my mother evil and a whore, I would be incredibly offended. Now just imagine if I were actually gay and some one called me gay!! I can't imagine what is offensive about it.

A very good questions was asked a number of posts ago. Since Bristol won't turn 21 until mid October, what's she doing hanging around in bar flapping her ignorant mouth. She should be home with her kid.

 

Is Bristal the one with downs syndrome? If she has downs she would not care if anyone was gay. If Bristol can ID a gay, she must have extra sensory religious gay perception. Or, another form of mental illness or mental retardation. There is a reson, not many of these Down Syndrome Paylims ever get married. Darwin was right.

 

In America young mothers are allowed to go out occasionally, even w/o their child. In fact, 20 yr olds are also allowed in a bar/restaurant - imagine that!
