Like I said; "so many others suffer which is a lack of knowledge and common sense".

I'm only accepting reality! If you wish to live and function in Fantasy Land, this is your choice, but you are going to find more dead-ends in life than you will find doors opening to other opportunities.

You expect everything else around you to change to your wishes, but in reality, if you demand change, then this change must come from YOU...not from others. When you understand this, this is when you will take control of your life and your future...until then...others are controlling you!

    Think about this some...

For that reason even the education in the master and phd level should be free...for example like in Finland.

Awww....nice to know you care so much about me. Some things are bigger than our own personal experience on this earth. Traitors in control of ones nation, is one of those rare, worthy causes. People who think like you are the same who fought for the crown during the revolution. I could see your argument 50 years ago, but the global regime has gone from improper looks and inappropriate touching, to nightly butt rape. At some point one must grow balls and fight back.

I'm a business owner, and since I can't do everything on my own, I must have subordinates helping me. Depending on the size of my business depends on how many subordinates there will be. Then every single one of those people create a pyramid of jobs in their own lives when they spend money and make demands on others. If I go away, and the business goes away, every single person effected by me will lose whatever they were getting from me.

Lastly, obviously you have never worked in business or any situation which requires a leader, a CEO, etc. 99.9% of the time, this position is absolutely required!! Absolutely productive!! Why do you suppose when Steve Jobs recently stepped down they replaced him with another manager? Just for (*)(*)(*)(*)s and grins?

A college education didn't seem to do much good for obama with his stating that we have 57 states and an inability to pronounce Marine Corps properly.

CEO's CREATE jobs? Really? Maybe you could post some stats or charts or something that supports that observation, because, every time I see a new one come in, THEY CUT. Headhunters looking to increase profit, and increasing profit means slicing and dicing...LABOR. Please...show me even one example and I'll stand corrected.

Well, I guess better is relative. When 8 bucks an hour is the the top, and the job market is so thin, you probably have some of the more educated folks "drifting" to the top of the 8 buck mark, but, that's about all you can say. So...to summarize, the most educated will get the 8 buck an hour jobs, and the non educated won't get there. Wow. Everybody run out and educate yourself. Go in hock. What a bright future you have.

The average income of a person with a bachelor's is a lot more than $8/hr.

Yes....the slave masters would have you believe that they "supply" jobs out of some sort of human decency. The only reason they employ anybody is because they HAVE TO, in order to keep their pockets full. Nothing else.

You MUST have subordinates to make money. There's an interesting admission. "Whatever they were "getting" from you? I thought you just said you needed them to make money? If THEY go away, how will YOU make money?
CEO's cut throats. Nothing else. The only reason a new one comes on board is because the greedsters WANT MORE.

    I gave you an example;

"If you have one engineer, they will need support workers, someone will build and test the stuff they dream up, clients will consider the stuff, and all of those people buy food, and drive cars, and enjoy entertainment, need police and fire protection, and need facilities, and use energy, and need medical services, send their kids to school, and have their houses cleaned, and use dry cleaning, etc. etc. etc. all the while making demands on all levels of government."

This applies to anyone in business and anyone who spends money.

I don't place any value on wealth achieved by exploitation and extraction, nor the immoral creeps that are clever enough to perform the theft.

As far as progressives are concerned Apple has been selling Ipods for 40 years.

LOL. Since globalism is the common denominator of all progressives, I'm pretty sure Apple is progressive. Irony, anyone?

Knowledge is the key to riches. Interesting a lot of people don't see this.

Define "knowledge" and "riches". I know too many people tricked into a college education that are in debt to their eyeballs with "knowledge" that adds up to jack (*)(*)(*)(*) as far as the market is concerned and they could have acquired simply reading in their spare time.

I don't find fault with those who don't know better, but for those with an IQ high enough to understand the benefits of education, but for their own personal reasons refuse to allow OTHERS the opportunity to achieve potential, for them...they are pathetically self-serving...

Define "education". If higher education was free, I wouldn't care if some went to be a harp playing major. Working poor who go to college, those who need debt to go, can't be given the same "just to be well rounded" speech that those with more get. I know most with more in America started at the bottom, but the bottom of days past is nothing like the bottom now. Social mobility has all but been erased. Does it means there aren't exceptions to the rule? Of course not. When the elite of your nation are pushing "people need to get use to living with less" and "if American workers weren't so overpaid the jobs would come back from CHINA", it is a good time to take a step back and take the advice of those who lived in old America with a grain of salt.

I agree. I'll shrug off your insult. I read all the time. One does not need knowledge at a gouged price to enrich themselves. There are these things called public libraries. You are pushing for private institutions to have a monopoly on someone gaining knowledge AND using it to better themselves. Take a step back and evaluate what you are saying. One's pride does not help this discussion. Or any, for that matter.

Education is always available to the highest bidder, as is the right to a fair trial in a criminal case, and as it is in obtaining sufficient health care. Cash is king. People are secondary.

How true you are. But I think we are coming into a time where Cash is not king. We are on the dawn of a new age. Maybe that is what 2012 signifies. Our evolution continues. Hopefully people can act to help others in whatever type of need exist. The trick is how do we reward such action? Because the corrupt and greedy have most of all the rewards right now. But hopefully for the human race, we are starting to change that. Time will tell.
