Yikes, here he is, in the WH, and he's still the underdog?
What a pitiful cry, have mercy on him, will ya?
Please, cry me a river.:bored: Right?

Who gives a rat's ass if Obama manages Demagogue his way back into the White House? All GOP has to do is produce votes for their Representatives and Senators and screw the President. He can play President "No" for the last 4 years of his term and his legacy will become a tattered joke.

He'll go down in history as "President Could've"

So I don't give two (*)(*)(*)(*)s about Obama's reelection. I'm working to ensure a GOP majority House and Senate. That is where the real power lies and that is where my campaign donations this year will go. I'm not giving a dime to Presidential candidates, I'm helping where it counts. In close districts that could swing Republican.

    Project much?
There's nothing whiny about Obama's statements.
In fact, he seems to be boasting almost.

The T-Party is dead. It's now like a fish out of water.
Flopping about trying to find a new life.

Personally...I'm enjoying watching the lunatics self-implode.

Tea Party leader in Dallas was interviewed on the radio this morning and when asked if they plan any demonstrations following Obama's visit to a local (community) college today, she replied, "No. We talked about it... but nobody really cares what he says anymore."

Pretty much sums it up for the majority of Americans.

Obama's the one who's become irrelevant.

One could write is entire "vision" on a bar napkin...foment class divisiveness to continue increasing spending and taxes until outcome based social and economic "justice" is achieved.

We've heard it....over and over and over again.

So why is he calling himself the 'underdog"? Do you not think its a ploy?

Everything in politics is a ploy. Politics is basically marketing.

But he's not feeling sorry for himslef.
He's invoking the "underdog" as an American archetype people generally react favorably to.
Who do you want to win in the movies usually? Usually it's the underdog.

So he is whining to win votes. Why else go there? That's what I thought.

Seems pretty obvious that's exactly what he's trying to recreate... everybody rooting for the underdog.

"I don't mind," Obama said of the poll's results. "I'm used to being an underdog."

Mighta worked in 2008... won't work today.

    There ya go...

If 2 (*)(*)(*)(*)ty teams meet for the World Series...the better of the (*)(*)(*)(*)ty teams will win.

MAYBE real Republicans should distance themselves from what is gonna kill them in 2012?

    Tea anyone???

But he's not whining. He's boasting. I'm not sure where you get whining from that.

I don't it works in any situation. Nobody switches sides due to these kinds of frames.

My guess is that his main purpose is to rally the base by showing optimism in the face of low poll numbers.
Whether or not Obama can rally his base will be one of the chief deciders of this campaign.

It's neither. It is a strategy. The American people love an underdog, one man against the many, the reason the Die Hard film franchise has been so successful.

But will it work. Jimmy Carter tried it.....didn't serve him so well. And that raises the question about blaming Bush. Will that work?

Frankly, I think the American people are so insufferably uniformed and self centered and the Republican field so weak, OweBama will be in the White House through to 2016....

All sounds great (in theory, in YOUR head), but you seemingly underestimate the power of the WILL of the actual MAJORITY of Americans, who believe in Obama's (and the overall Progressive) vision for America.

We Conservatives do understand that there is still a sizable amount of anti American commie/socialist/progressive sentiment stinking up our culture, but we Conservatives have faith that the unstoppable religious/Tea Party movement that helped us win over the congress in 2010 will snowball all remaining vestiges of leftism out from our nation next year. :)
