    Now this is one winner of a post ... and the part where your son got detention for saying "Merry Christimas" to a friend & speaking of Jesus - THEN got detention when he asked the principal "I don't understand why it's offensive" made me livid!:twisted:

    I can really smell the stink of a dictatorship crawling in........

    Don't get too livid.

    No kid got detention for saying "Merry Christmas" and "speaking of Jesus to a friend".

    He almost certainly got detention for making smartass comments and arrogantly preaching to unwilling non-Christians in order to make fun of or point out their differences.

    Both the kid's mom and you appear to be very gullible to children's stories of how they got in trouble for "doin' nothin'! " :lol:

    I am the father of young man in question and let me assure you I am not one to tell tall tales. Now stay on topic and don't even think of insinuating that I or my son is lying.

    Oh and Furthermore, my oldest son is turning nine years old in a week. He is hardly old enough to "Preach to unwilling non-christians". He just shares the same values as his mother and her family and while I may not agree with them, I support him.

    the PC nutcases at it again. whats next they gonna try and ban American flags from the classroom because it might offend some illegal?

    jeez, if it was up to these PC morons they would hand over our way of over to everyone else so we can live by their standards and not our own.
