Yep, he was a class act. There isn't one other world leader who could make Hollywood look like a rummage sale for zombies.

I like the Louis Vuitton shades.

Funny that it was a French make that took him down in the end too.

BTW other leaders have had better dress sense whilst breaking the dark suit mould - Nelson Mandela by way of example.

His miltary uniform is a joke. The guy looks like Captain Crunch. Now we know where Michael Jackson got his fashion ideas.

He was an act alright. But absent of any class.

Believe me, no one in Hollywood would dress like that walking freak show Gaddafi.

Why should we believe you when you just said that Michael Jackson did.

Bandage for that foot ? Looks painful.

Hollywood regards the motion picture industry, not music. Name one movie that Michael Jackson starred in.

My foot hurts from the constant verbal butt kicking that I give you.

If I took control over a nation at 24 I'd have crazy outfits and beautiful female guards too. You guys have to admit, he knew how to live the high life.

He sure did- and I didn't hear any reports of any ' tyranny ' until NATO saw an opportunity for some oil. This ' revolution' wasn't a spontaneous Arab Spring event at all.

I tend to agree. Although I'm sure he wasn't an angel, as no autocracies, or any world leaders ever are really. But it goes back to the bible with me - "don't try to pull out a splinter in someone's eye when you have a log in your own". Moon in the US we have citizens getting killed all the time, only it's at the hands of paid thugs (I mean officers in the business of "service and protection"). But when you go through our "justice system" and average citizens' (who pay these cockroaches salaries) word is virtually trumped by an enforcer of the law, you can see the injustice already. They just call us free because our leaders hands are free of blood since their gangsters in uniform do the dirty work for them.

Yes, anybody wanting a rational view of the US from an external vantage point could do no better than tuning in to Russia Today once a week. You'll be aghast at what's going on in your own country.

Agreed, Gaddafi was no angel. He was an infighter who freed Libya , kept it independent of the West's connivances and held at bay for four decades all those mercenaries and rabble who eventually killed him- with NATO's urgings and NATO's weapons.

I see both sides of it. I've been subscribed to Russia Today on YouTube for some time now, but I understand where their "rational view of the US from an external vantage point" ends and inherent bias begins. No thinking person will ever rely on a single source of information for their newsmedia. In this industry especially one must utilize the vast array of sources available to them and use their critical thinking skills to decipher what is truth, lies, propaganda, or somewhere in between. It's a wild world. :sun:

The problem with RT and virtually all newsmedia is we are expected to just take their word for it, or the word of "experts". Seldom do they offer verifiable sources to their stories. So this is why I don't go around telling people where to find the truth, because I'd be in danger of misleading. People can't be handed the truth on a silver platter in spoonfed portions. It's not that simple.

Absolutely . its the only way to form an independent assessment/ opinion + avoid becoming indocrinated/brainwashed by one single source i.e. Fox News etc.
