Occupy Oakland Attempts to Shut Down City with America's First General Strike in 65 Years

    http://www.readersupportednews.org/...occupy-oakland-city-braces-for-general-strike

This is incredible! This movement is spreading like wild fire! Businesses all over Oakland are participating in the strike.

    Businesses like Men's Warehouse:

This is what change looks like! Notice no one came up in arms for the Tea Party? Because what they were calling for wasn't change. It was regressive nonsense. Failed economic policies of the 19th century that lacked even the most basic of human compassion.

OWS is something most Americans can back and will back. OWS will bring change to America that Obama couldn't with the obstructed and spineless in office.

Wonder if that was the owners decision or the employees?

If all of Oakland goes on strike, will violent crime stop?

I highly doubt the owners would have allowed them to put a sign in the window if they didn't endorse it.

Yes, cause no worker has ever gone against the wishes of their owners. Where did you see that this store was closing down other than the poster?

LOL - That's precisely the "solution" the OWSniks are proposing - the failed policies of a 19th Century economic theory/system (Socialism).

    That's not change, that's retrogression.

I'm seeing a prime opportunity for the redistribution of wealth here. ;)

No one in OWS is suggesting an elimination of the private sector. Free enterprise is an important part of the movement.

What's lacking in our economy that OWS is demanding is wealth mobility. The ability of moving from poor to rich.

It doesn't matter to them if one becomes rich due to hard work and success. It's all about jealousy. They don't like those that have more than them, and those with more than them need to start sharing with the others who won't do the work themselves.

There is quite a bit of wealth mobility. You libs are just mad cause the top .0001% don't move as often. As far as the top 1%, people move in and out of that all the time. Professional sports stars and actors, and lottery winners gain and loose their money all the time. And those that inherrit their money compared to earning it by creating new products, services, or procedures lose their money just as easily.

Libs want to love to paint a broad stroke of the groups they know nothing about. They paint the entire 1% (1,500,000 people) based on the examples of the top .0001% (150 people) sometimes less, as greedy and evil. They label the enitre TEA party racist or violent because of plants or unfounded allegations. But heaven forbid the OWS crowd gets labeled as rapist, anti-semetic, lawless thugs because of 2,700 arrests, videos of them hating jews, and multible sexual assault allegations.

Guess you weren't paying attention in WI? Stores stayed open in support of the TEA party and conservative Scott Walker when the Union thugs threatened businesses.

The store owners in WI had a bigger sack when they told the Unions to F* Off.

My thoughts as well, show you are on their side and they are more likely to leave your storefront alone.

Evidently, you haven't been paying close attention:

If free enterprise was an important part of the OWS movement they'd be occupying The Mall in DC instead of Wall Street.

    No one in OWS?

You should avoid such broad statements.

I am glad to have learned this. I am a Men's Warehouse customer. I spend significant money there every year. I am on their preferred mailing lists. They have received my last dime.

It's time to check out the competition.

Yea, that is the stuff. The chance of winning a lottery is the same if you play it or don't... So mathematically those OWS have all the chances in the world to be millionaires, they should blame yourself for missing the opportunity!

It doesn't have to do with paying attention. It has to do with hiding your plans and goals.
