Isn't it odd these liberals complained about our soldiers occupying Iraq for years, yet now they are reveling in occupying cities, their parks and terrorising their citizens and businesses. Those liberals.... they are just so hard to understand!

I still don't get this "wealth mobility" argument.

Its a fact that a person can go from making minimum wage, to 25-30 thousand a year in less than 5 years. I've done it myself, its not that hard.

Getting from 30k to 75k is a different story, and takes on average 10-15 years of dedicated effort. Its not something that happens straight out of college and I have no desire to socialistically fund the first 10-15 years of the average American working person's life while they noodle around trying to figure out their career path.

That's just wrong to expect that from me who had no net to fall back on. Why would I pay so someone else can have it when I need every dime for me?

What is 75K? Is this a lot for you personally?

Its the average household income in my county and in my part of the world its as good a life as one can expect in America when you aren't rich. Do you actually expect the average person to make 100k a year plus? That's for doctors and skilled professionals around here.

My household makes more then 100K and I can't afford not only to buy more or less decent apartment in NYC, I can't afford even renting one. We have only 1 car and we go on vacations 1.5 times a year. Is this American DreamĀ© ?

I'm wondering when they'll start marching on Sean Penn, Danny Glover, Susan Sarandon, Oprah, A-Rod, Madonna and Bruce Springsteen. They have plenty of people to march on. Get it in gear guys! Maybe Brad Pitt will sign your dirty shirt!

The OWSniks' sympathizers in the media have certainly done a magnificent job of dissembling for the protesters, too. I haven't seen a disinformation campaign like this since the JournoList scandal.

People are worried about the actions of OWS while the elites continue to control our society.

The wealthy of the rest of the world envy how obedient our sheep are.

And you ignore the other occupations I put down. But those people actually work harder than most to become as well paid as they do. Lottery winners are just a small fraction of the 1.5MILLION (1,500,000) people of the top 1%.

If the last few years haven't made it painfully obvious, I'm not sure what to tell you.

In the past few years? How about in the past few decades the government has gotten so large that has attracted the corporations to buy their way into running the show?

Now how do you want to handle it?

When do you think they'll start marching on the offices of Big Labor and denounce the corruptive influence of their deep pockets on our political system? ;)

The leaders of the biggest unions are far within being considered the top 1%, and they do less that CEOs.

The more you make - the less you work. Simple example - dishwasher and executive. I do agree that some do work hard though, when I used to work as a waiter our boss was washing dishes when dishwasher bailed out. But this is true about 1% of 1%....

This isn't a fight against the rich. It's a fight against the increasing wealth gap and difficult wealth mobility.

That is not part of the main message of the group. I never denied that there were socialists in the crowd. There are also conservatives.

    That doesnt make any sense...

Communism isnt gonna give anyone wealth mobility.... Its going to reduce everyone to the lowest common denominator.

I despise communism and so do most liberals. And end to the private sector is not the goal of most liberals. We've all seen the failures of communism.

Yet you think that when the government gets the power to knock down the wealth gap, they will simply stop there? Look at the healthcare law, they wrote themselves out of following their own law. How naive can you be?
