    He's playing golf in Hawaii and with his old friend. He's quite a a clean character. He was just arrested in a Hawaiian prostitution sting this year. His name is actually 'Titcomb'.:mrgreen:


    Bobby Titcomb, a friend of Barack Obama‘s since his Punahou School days, has been arrested along with three other men in a Hawaiian prostitution sting after having solicited the services of an escort through a fake website. He has since been released on a $500 bail.

    HONOLULU — The Honolulu Police Department confirmed that a close friend of President Barack Obama was arrested Monday in connection with a prostitution sting case.

    Police arrested Bobby Titcomb, 49, a Punahou School classmate of Obama, at 9:40 p.m. in downtown Honolulu at the corner of Pohukaina and South streets. He was released after posting $500 bail, police said.

    Police arrested four men in connection with a reverse prostitution sting involving a fake online female escort website, sources said.

    The offense is considered a misdemeanor. Titcomb’s initial court appearance is scheduled May 2.


    From the AP:

    The 49-year-old Titcomb attended Punahou School in Honolulu with Obama. The two often golf, play basketball, go to the beach and dine together when the president returns home to Hawaii for vacation.

    Titcomb has attended several events with his longtime friend:

    Titcomb usually spends the holidays with the president and his family when they spend time in Hawaii. He has been seen playing golf and attending picnics with the president.

    The first family attended a barbecue at Ticomb’s Waialua home in December.

    Sorry, that's really only the nice thing I can say about Obama. He's disappointed me otherwise. Just another neocon/neoliberal lackey.

    The Canadian media compared him to Trudeau in 2008. That has proven true... on the bad points.

    not a problem.as a person he is in fact a very charismatic man and very intelligent to say the least. i wouldnt love to have the honor to spend a few hours and throw back a few beers with him and pick at his brain, im sure you could learn alot from him.

    but as a president, im sorry i cant say much nice lol.

    Nice thread. However, threads like these invite people to make trivial compliments (such as, "nice golf swing") and thus imply the subject is either shallow, or his accomplishments are inconsequential in nature. I liked the stimulus packages. His signing of the first significant health care bill in eons, and even some of his more contentious statements, such as the one where he said many people were clinging to issues like guns because of the emptiness and futility of their lives. Which, though controversial statement, is basically true.

    Not qualified to comment on his golf swing.

    Maybe we should have two threads about Obama; one for conservatives to say something nice, and another for progressives to admit something they dislike, and no, I would not be the one to start such threads.:)
