Martha informed me today that the roots on a tooth are in fact connected to the jawbone, as such a time until the dentist (or a thug, one supposes) removes said tooth, with the roots....thus the pain involved....

I, not being all that in tuned with biology and anatomy was not aware of the intricacies of such things.
After being informed of such, I became aware of two things:
1) no wonder it hurt so freakin' bad
2) I surely wish I didn't know that my jaw was missing a tooth root!!!

(and mercy yes you do sound as if you were a precocious child! :mrgreen:

I'm around too---ice pack on my face eating oxycontin---norco when permitted, muscle relaxers---wishing for motrin...(GI track threatens to KILL me at the mere thought of any anti-inflammatory) and cranky and snarky as hell too---only it's just amber that gets to hear it.
Been to weak to get to the office except for a brief time yesterday to handle Adviser stuff...
