As the free press has always done during every U.S. involved foreign conflict. Then after the damage is done (often horrific), the press tries to recover it's credibility, by doing honest contrarying stories, focusing on Washington's war crimes and propaganda, and other violations of international and U.S. laws. It's the exact same routine every single time.
This is true. This is how we became aware of war crimes committed by Bush, Rumsfeld, Cheney and a bunch of those who worked with them. This is how we found out that Serbia did not deserve to be pulverized by bombings, etc.
