It has been fun watching the locals trying to dig their cars out and keep the cars in a straight line when they are driving. Having only experienced snow for the first time a few years ago myself, they have my full sympathy lol

I can relate.. I never drove in snow until the 1970s.

When we were kids in Arabia.. we'd run around outdoors like maniacs when it rained.

Those Saudis don't know what to do with it!

I hope they enjoy it while it lasts.

Well coming from Australia I can identify with that - Sydney once went nearly 18 months without rain.........We went crazy when it finally did rain

    Re: the video..

As freak snowfall blankets parts of the Middle East for the first time in a generation, some people are struggling to get to grips with the whole winter thing.

In a video entitled ‘this is why we don’t have snow in Saudi Arabia’ a man jumps headfirst into a bank of snow that fell in the highlands of a country more used to scorching temperatures, leaving his legs dangling in the air.

Mohammed Alobaidan, who uploaded the video, wrote that while Darwin posited that humans evolved from monkeys, he says that Saudis clearly ‘came from ostriches’.

The short clip has already been watched more than a quarter of a million times

Yeah Sydney has a pretty active Muslim community. I have always had a soft spot for that Mosque because of the name and what it represents

1: The pictured Mosque is in Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND, not Australia.
2: Both countries have sizable non-Christian communities, including Muslims.
3: Muslims are 4.6% of the total population of the United Kingdom (link here) and 1.9% in Australia while the Muslim community is 0.9% in NZ. I don't think they are trying to occupy ANY of these nations. Especially as by the second and third generation of Muslims in western countries the rate of Muslim reproduction is falling to and matching that of the host country.

    Good for you.
Why second and third Muslim youth in UK are the most problematic ?
Does New Zealand have some kind of magic towards illegal immigrants or is it the weather ?
