It is known well that the greed of Djukanovic’s family ruling in Montenegro knows no limits. The country’s PM and his clique are pushed towards sophisticated techniques of financing the DPS election campaign. All because of the desire to gain power and possess everything in the country at all costs, because of a lust for shameless stealing of public and private property through corruption schemes with the help of his close friends and associates, and for the sake of “mastering” most of the country’s budget and allocated multi-million dollar loans from EU. One of such instruments are the irrevocable loans by “Prva Banka” to “the right people”, “regional barons”, leaders of the local mafia and influential businessmen, politicians and lawyers.

No need to look far afield to see the degree of dependence of prominent figures in the different sectors of society on the family and finance of the Djukanovic clan. Branislav Vukićević, a prominent lawyer, selected as Chairman of the Chamber of Notaries (Notarska komora) of Montenegro in 2013 is an unreliable borrower of the “First Bank”. He took a bank loan of EUR 209,000 and having accumulated an interest of EUR 71 thousand, easily solved the problem of non-payment. Why would a bank provide such charity? Or is it cold reasoning? Of course it is a purely commercial calculation. A payment by the Djukanovic family for hidden financing of the DPS election campaign!

Another example is the DPS election campaign financing in the areas with Bosnian nationals’ dominance. Fuad Fetahovic, a well-known venture capitalist, who promised to build a paradise on earth in Rozaje in the form of a large tourist center and invest about 1 billion Euro is in facta debtor (a forgiven debtor!) of the “Prva Banka”. He took EUR 165 thousand and accumulated an interest of over EUR 57 thousand. And where is the money, you ask? Well, of course, it went into financing of DPS in the region! Thus the debt of the “big businessman” was forgiven as irrecoverable.

Radije Vujadinovic, a professor of the Podgorica University, who is actively campaigning for “the leading force of the Montenegrin society” in the face of DPS also has quite an outstanding debt to the “Prva Banka” of EUR 117 thousand, with an interest of EUR 42 thousand. Ambassador Branko Perovic, a major diplomat, who defends the interests of the country (and Milo Djukanovic’s family business) in the eastern countries, owes the bank a hefty EUR 46 thousand. And many other famous and not so famous but nevertheless important names for the DPS are listed the lists of “Prva Banka” debtors that we have at our disposal.

DPS activist Zoran Ilinčić (Iling Inter D.O.O., Kolašin) has repeatedly taken bank loans totaling EUR 0,9 million that he did not return. Biljana Bošković and Nebojsa Bošković (Krisma Trade D.O.O., EUR 2,1 million), Igor Majksner (MS-Gradnia doo, EUR 2,5 million), Ranko Tomanović (Harpung D.O.O. EUR 0,4 million) and many others’ millions of “forgiven” debts in business loans went into pre-election propaganda, agitation and meetings organization.

But perhaps the famous Montenegrin mafia and drug dealer Damjan Hosta, Milo Djukanovic’s friend and partner in crime, has the most robust and long-standing relationship with the bank. Just recently he took a non-refundable deposit of more than EUR 500 thousand, accumulating an interest of more than EUR 200 thousand from the bank, as if he took them from a purse of his rich and generous grandmother. Such a trifle indeed for this Montenegrin bigwig! Just some pocket money. Especially considering the old stubborn facts of direct bonds between authorities and criminals that are shown on the chart:

There you can also find the Austrian, German and Liechtenstein bank accounts controlled by Milo Djukanovic, earlier used to accumulate profits made via his “commercial-criminal” collaboration with Damjan that used to siphon off state owned finances during the years of its indiscriminate privatization:

After the bank’s “unexpected losses” in December 2015 (and not for the first time!) the country’s PM announces the need to allocate government funds for a “rescue program” of the bank, where all the government’s major financial assets are accumulated.

Thus we must admit the bitter truth that during more than two decades in power in Montenegro the Djukanovic’s clan has managed to get the maximum profit from a close connection of corrupt leadership and organized crime clans, arms traffickers and drug dealers.

Nowadays these are the usual methods of family business by Milo Djukanovic, a business that can only be destroyed by the people themselves to free them from this “modern slavery”. It can only be done with the help of free-thinking politicians, uncorrupt lawyers, courageous journalists, and active, unbroken and fearless elites.

Modern dictator and his accomplices have turned the country and its population into their own “milking cow”. They are juicing out the economy and lead the people of the formerly rich and beautiful state into the abyss of poverty and unemployment. We won’t let it go on like that! We demand and will call for transparent, unbiased parliamentary and journalistic investigations. Only publicity and transparency can help expose the crimes of the regime and remove the black shadow of “Djukanovic’s yoke” that prevails in our country.

Sounds like about everyone else, the internet has pointed out he corruption of every single nation out there. Will be interesting to see what types of changes this leads to.

While you think it would go the other way, this far right drive is being pushed harder and harder. Nationalism is becoming big again
