    I've heard that China has banned wet markets. Good news I guess, but how exactly can this be enforced absolutely? I'd imagine this will simply become their latest black market. China isn't the only Asian country that partakes in this sort of market anyways.

    As they say, hindsight is 20/20. Makes me wonder what we're missing at this very moment that'll prove disastrous later?

    It is not just China

    Two waaaay more lethal viruses have emerged in Australia - but unlike COVID they are not as easily transmissible person to person

    The first was Lyssa virus then came Hendra

    I hope like hell Hendra never mutates to become an airborne pathogen

    But the USA also has a list of zoonotic diseases as well as those spreading outside the their traditional areas due to climate change

    I'm still going with it more likely coming from the lvl 4 bioweapons lab within sneezing distance of that food market.

    China is an authoritarian, communist dictatorship. They can do anything they want. Just make operating a wet market punishable by death.
