Time to quibble! We don’t breath out individual viruses. We breath out a fine mist and it’s this mist the masks trap along with the virus. Nothing is perfect. Most governments around the world were trying to stop the transmission of the virus as quickly as possible using many different methods — mask, social distancing, to start with. These methods were meant to decrease the chances of getting the virus. This isn’t the first time or the last time the government has told people what to do. The point was to decrease the chances of really vulnerable people getting the virus. I chose to wear a mask because it was the right thing to do whether the government was telling me to so or not.

    Yes we do.

Correct. We also breathe out droplets.

Mask pores are too small to stop a virus (or "the mist"). They can keep out most droplets pretty well though. You also don't seem to realize just how fast "the mist" evaporates.

    The Christian God is perfect.

... and neither of those things "stops the transmission", as we subsequently saw (and the more intelligent people among us already knew).

Neither of those things accomplishes that.

Viruses can go right through mask pores with ease... masks do not form a perfect seal... masks are not worn 24/7/365... etc etc

Standing at least six feet away from someone does not accomplish anything either. The virus is already all over in the air. Six feet makes no difference.

That's why there's no discernable/noteworthy difference between people who did those things and people who didn't do those things. Again, the smarter people among us already knew all of this.

    Correct. Your point?

If that were the case, then only "really vulnerable people" would have been taking extra precautionary measures if they saw fit to do so.

Nope. You obediently wore a mask because the government told you to do so, because the media fear mongered you into doing so, and because you outsource your thinking to the government and the media.

I chose NOT to wear a mask because I understand the engineering specs regarding masks, I am aware of the size of the virus, and I can do basic mathematics. I also understand how the human immune system works, and quickly noticed that this disease typically presents itself as a mild flu (iow, nothing to be concerned about).

    Holy links summarily dismissed.

I wore a mask before the government said a word about it. If the Christian god is so perfect then then why a pandemic in the first place? Doesn’t your Christian god preach not to hurt your neighbour which is what you are doing by posting misinformation and by refusing to keep others safe by not wearing a mask. Seriously hypocrite much?

I think the last two posts of ours were a

    If you say so.

    [1] Perspective.

[2] The wages of sin is death.

[3] The existence of bad is necessary in order for man to realize the awfulness of sin (IOW, bad is necessary in order to know what good truly is, otherwise there is only indifference/ignorance). If slavery is all you knew, you wouldn't think of slavery as "bad". You would be indifferent about it because "that's what is". However, when you also know what freedom is, it then becomes very clear to you that freedom is "good" and slavery is "bad".

    Yes.

    I've done no such thing.

Wearing a mask doesn't keep anyone safe from a virus. Viruses are much smaller than the mask pores. Do you erect a chain link fence to keep yourself safe from mosquitoes?

All of us are at one point or another (as a result of our sinful natures). That's why Jesus died on the cross for our sins.

What they don't tell you is what sins? Jesus was crucified because was going to expose the corrupt who were going to usher in a Babylonian 'money magic'. A system that involved usury. Jesus was opposed to that and the Romans opposed Jesus of what he knew and was going to do.
