US needs to pull our troops out then. No need to have troops there if we aren't using the best available technology to protect them.

We've been in South Korea way too long. If they don't want the missle protection system then I'm sure Japan or others would be glad to have it. Bring our boys home. Our gain South Koreas loss.

Can't see Japan volunteering for it myself. Britain will. Israel will. France might.

You could try some broke Eastern European countries. They like money.

It's China boycotting South Korean products and services causing the protests against Thaad, 25% of South Korea's exports goes to China (Australia is 30%).

Protesters do not represent the majority or the government of S. Korea or Japan, just like protesters do not represent the majority of Americans or the US government.

Call a protest about ANYTHING and malcontents and submissive political minions of some faction will show up with professionally printed signs handed out to them.

That little girl on the left didn't make that sign she is holding up and has no clue what it is about. She is just doing what she said. In addition, the camera had to zoom in really tight, indicating it is a small group.

A small group that doesn't represent 1/1000th of 1% of S. Koreans. It also is notable they are carrying commercially made signs made for them. Who made the signs? Those protesters didn't.

It's good that you try to think, but you have to do it better.

We don't have relatives in the North and very little sympathy for that regime. We do need to remember most of that nation is in the dark literally and figuratively.

The Japanese are against the US base because the US soldiers raped women many times and made troubles in a drunken state. There were many such protests. Just Western media do not show them.
South Korea does not want to be cannon fodder for yankees.

Because the entire economy of Okinawa is dependent on it? Just a thought.
